He's easy but there's still room for improvement and most high-tier players will wipe you with anybody even if you play s76.

the same thing can be said for a huge amount of the roster. symmetra literally requires you to hold left click and rapidly circle an enemy. mercy requires you to do the same, only you literally hide and contribute nothing for a POTG ultimate

Somewhat, I guess. Sym still requires you to use your shield right otherwise you'll get smoked. It's easy for a Mercy to sit behind a tank and that's all but a good Mercy will be all over the place healing and doind damage when possible

Soldier is an army of one and the perfect pick when you don't trust your team to compensate for the weaknesses of other picks. It's almost impossible to have a bad individual time as Soldier.

I, personally, enjoy the other ones. Some are not really needed (i.e. Askew and 3/4 of Reaper's, since its just his ult, an ability, and emote) but the ones that have to go is the Looking At You shit. Literally is a waste of space. We could've had some sick double dragons shit for Hanzo, but no. We get some shit that looks similar to the Dramatic Squirrel video.

Literally had this happen twice today. Kill Pharah, she immediately comes for me with Mercy in her trail, shooting boosted rockets that one-hit kill me.

I dunno, if you think Soldier is easy maybe you should try Bastion next, since he does everything Soldier does but better and also being at least twice as durable. The only thing you miss out on is the aoe heal that soldier does, except nobody bothers to stand in it anyway so you may as well just play Bastion.

I like to play an aggressive Lucio, jumping around and flanking, pushing enemy tanks out of position, trolling enemy healers, trolling snipers etc. You can really rack up some kills that way, too, especially if you git gud headshotting niggers with your dubstep gun.

Any sniper or Pharah shooting beyond his effective range can kill him in 3-4 shots with impunity. There are only a handful of maps where this isn't possible.

To be fair when you play on new accounts you go against the absolute bottom of the barrel players until the game has time to calibrate your hidden mmr

There's only a handful of places in any map where anybody can actually get that kind of range on Bastion, plus you're also immune to headshots from the front in turret mode. He's a bullshit character, he never needed this armor horseshit and the fact that his self heal is on such a short recharge + can be used while moving is fucking broken.

If you can't kill a stationary target under focus fire then you are literally too retarded to play video games.

He's good, but what does he do?

He put's out buffs in an AoE.

You don't have to hit a shot of any kind, you don't have to manage a resource, you don't have to really time anything. He's just there, and so he's gettign value to an entire team. Such a lame ass design.

Speaking of easy characters, is Pharah the most bullshit character in this game? At this point in my playtime I hate her more than Roadhog, Mei, or Zarya.

Her rockets are huge damage with no falloff, but they're projectiles and most people are too retarded to lead targets. Only a capable Pharah will grab any damage medals.

My problem is like more then half of the cast it feels like have short range shotgun like attacks and oh theres a character that can stay almost a permanent flight 2000 miles above the map that you can't even fight back, you have to get your OTHER teammates to kill her.

And I know "muh muh muh teamwork teamgame" but its not very fun when theres just one character that you can't possibly hope to fight as half the cast.

I don't even think she's in all honesty that good, I just think her design is cancer. It's just not fun to be fighting this ground fight and having your focus on the GROUND and then oops you got domed by a rocket twice because you weren't look straight up because thats the only character in the game that wouldn't be grounded.

And really it's pretty easy to btfo of her with soldier and mc.reeee but I just hate the fact that her presence completely forces a character switch

Even with Ironclad he easily dies to nearly everything, and if he's not in Sentry Mode he doesn't have Ironclad active meaning he's just another pathetic DPS with a few extra hit points. There's a reason you only see him in Quick Play and only shitters die to him.

Widows come in two types:
Type 1 - A top-tier sniper, been playing multiplayer FPS competitively for 15-20 years, instantkills you the microsecond you expose a square-centimeter of head hitbox; on the enemy team
Type 2 - Guttertrash cretin with the reflexes of a syphilitic gibbon and situational awareness of a slug with Down-Syndrome. Exists basically to charge the ultimates of the enemy. Insta-locks Widow; is on your team.

So true. And it can't be any healer. Lucio is useless for Pharah. He simply can't fucking heal her if she doesn't ground herself, something she absolutely can't do. Ana needs to aim to heal her, most of them can't, either needing her to be still or again, ground herself.

Winston exists to kill Genji and other low health flankers as well as leaping behind enemy lines to gank healers. Play him less like you would a frontline tank and more like a terrorist flying monkeys into buildings.

Holy shit are we the day after launch? He gets countered super easily which is why in higher ranked comp he's never picked. If you die to a Bastion in sentry mode, you're a retard.

Out of all the Tanks, he's the least tanky. He's viable but if you're playing him you're essentially playing him as an Offensive hero with a little bit more HP. He's mostly good for jumping in, finishing of squishy hero's, jump out, repeat.

He's dogshit.
His health gets shreded in seconds because of his huge hitbox and the gun deals pathetic damage. It's intended for him to kill healers and snipers, but it takes 5~ish seconds of tesla canon-fire to kill someone and Blizzard forget that they gave snipers mobility options and burst-DPS.

Play him like a huge coward. Flank the enemy on foot, harass, then use jump to get away. Only chase if somebody is very low or alone.

His gun is more accurate than soldiers meaning you can gun down pharah better than soldier
His self healing is much higher and on a shorter recharge than Soldier
His turret mode quadruples his damage output and volume
The only thing you lose playing Bastion over Soldier is the group heal and sprint.

Well if you choose to play him in the most boring way possible, then yeah, it'll be boring.
Git Gud. His mobility, healing, damaging and distracting power is amazing. Become the supersonic wonder that he could be.

Never use Winston as a main tank. He's a diver who leaps in to disrupt the enemy by diverting their attention and killing their healers and other squishies. Barrier dance while zapping someone and if they try to run leap after them and finish them off. If things get too hairy leap back out.

Winston, Tracer, and Genji are the backbone of the Dive Comp, which can be scary effective against the 3-Tank Meta.
