I was hoping that The Wolf Among Us would have more moments of "kino" because the color design is great, but the ending of the last episode and the bar were the only moments worth remembering. TFTB was paced really well to feel more like an interactive movie then anything else Talltale's made and is really underrated.

Skull face is supposed to be the main antagonist of the game (since it's unfinished) and in this scene you sit with him in a jeep for about 10 minutes while he explains all his evilness to Snake who's just sitting there quiet. For the most part it's okay, but then in the last two minutes they both sit in silence while the trailer song blast out of nowhere.
It's just so unconventional and strange. Feels like a misinterpretation of something Kojima assumed was in films

All of the reasons are pretty wacky, World of Strength is probably one of the more tamed since there'd still be a society at least. People would constantly be clawing at their higher ups or give in, but it beats literal nothingness or isolation.

I was really pleasantly surprised by TFTB Ep. 1, but it kind of slumped in the middle for me. And Episode 5 was fun, but it kind of had that vaguely "Whedon-esque" vibe to it that was more "mindless fun" and less actual interesting stuff going on. The opening credits were definitely the best thing in the games, but I did enjoy the overall plot which is why I forgave it for what I felt was a lazy and generic ending to a great series. The least I can say is that everything was wrapped up well enough that I don't feel burdened with it being over.

I feel that changing things back to they were is for the best as I don't believe the actions of one person should have decided that the world should end. With that said in regards to the world of Nocturne changing the world back to the way it was doesn't fix the issue that someday the cycle will repeat. In that case you should gain power for yourself in order to free humanity from the cycle of rebirth. Taking that into account however you would be siding with Lucy so you're kinda fucked in that aspect as well. It's why I liked Daichi's ending in DeSu 2 even though humanity is fucked in the ending.
