Nah, not at all. It's a messed up game. There are better MOBAs around.

The rune system rework is pretty great for newcomers, but you still have to deal with locked champions. Honestly, I would say DOTA2 is more rewarding for the insane amount of time you'll sink into either anyway.

no. they devs try to make every single outcome of the game planned and controlled, it became limited and there is tons of samefeel mechanics.
and they retcon the lore so many times that even the porn makes more justice to the characters

Don't get into it, it takes forever to become competent since there is so much shit to learn and they keep changing it because the game is fundamentally broken.
The single good thing league ever did is Yordles.
