Some people will hate them just because they are elves. At the same times they never did anything remarkable or had their own game where you could explore their culture, which for instance made a lot of people like Dunmer so much. I also can't think of a sympathic bosmer npc.

That would be fine, the problem is that most of the time the Bosmer are eating anyone they just HAPPEN to kill. In fact, this very reason is why they don't go to war a lot, because they HAVE to eat those they kill, even in war time, to keep the Green Pact.

if you're going to be using combat a lot, pick a weapon type, put all your points to that weapon type, get that weapon type, train that weapon type, and keep using it until you hoard enough to train other weapon skills.

If you want to hit stuff, you need some good AGI, full stamina and should be proficient with that weapon. Mana does not regenerate unless you use mods, but the game is build around this. Do look around and do quests in the starting area. Alchemie is utterly broken. You can steal an alchemie set in the mage guild in Caldera
