>And then the graphics looked INCREDIBLY REALISTIC AND IT WAS FULL OF GORE

>I found this game on the old yard sale
>I never found the owner again

HYPER REALISTIC BLOOD

Why is the sun bright ?

>The previous owner is dead
>He died mysteriously while playing the game

Petscop is almost doing it right, except for censoring stuff and saying "I'll tell you what it is later trust me"
Also, some more interaction with the author wouldn't hurt

...

>And suddenly the screen became black and a character walked by

yo that beat is bananas

>I turned the game on and on the menu I saw a hyper realistic pic of my dead gf even though she is not dead
>i just said whatever, must be something in my eye and clicked A to continue

...

we need a /pepe/ board now

BEATSTAAZ

>I bought a GameCube game at a yard sale
>I didn't know who it was because it was all black
>I turned it on and a hyper realistic pic of my dead family popes up
>it was so scary I throw my DS out the window because I didn't want the game in my house anymore

ejyzp.esp or whatever the Morrowind pasta was called was good until the end

most pastas just jump the shark sooner or katee, unfortunately

Because children believe in and are scared of the most retarded shit and video games are for children.

People started to copy off of Jadusable's BEN Drowned story after it became successful.

K I N G K O N G

We have two.
/r9k/ and Sup Forums

>was an autist that took the bus to college a few years back
>went on the creepypasta website and read through essentially almost all of them in a span of a year or so
>the video game section was cancer to the point they banned uploading newer ones

Vidya creepypasta is extremely cliche, boring, predictable, and uninteresting

Why make something new when you can take something old and add skeletons?

>it's a "bought a cartridge/CD without the label" creepypasta

...

>when I was asleep, the box opened by itself and the cart went into my DS on its own!
Jesus Christ, that Pokémon Black creepypasta was fucking shit.

...

lol

You laugh but I remember reading a creepy pasta were this happened. It started of with the guy having a N64 and by the end it was a GameCube or something like that.

Just because you can't open your mind up to something that isn't right in front of your nose doesn't mean it's pasta.

The Majoras Mask of Ben who died is a real thing, there have been plenty of documentaries made about it on YouTube and there are a number of pictures online of the ACTUAL game cartridge before it got taken away by the police and destroyed.

Learn to Google you fucking idiots

>The person playing the game is about to be killed in real life by a monster in the game
>his dead girlfriend appears in game and saved him from the monster

wew lad

how fucking old are you?
it was a hoax
are you fucking serious
a haunted game cartridge?
that is the least fucking scary thing I have ever heard

Prepare to be spooked

This genuinly creeped me the fuck out. Actually that whole story was great up to the fucking dead gf part

...

>are you fucking serious
He is not. He was baiting and/or making a jokepost.

>LAVENDER TOWN

Might not seem scary to big tough old you but if that cartridge is a gateway into much more worse things then what?

No smoke without fire.......

There's a YouTube called Dark5 who always does very accurate and informative videos and he talks all about it and gives specific evidence that it was real and it is haunted.

That one and The Princess are video game creepypastas that begin good but eventually shit the bed.

Oh wow you can upload an image!

Keep your images for reddit or Facebook and off my forum, dick head.

I am feeling like reading a good vidya creepypasta, what would you recommend?

Simple: It's incredibly difficult to write a quality horror story that centers itself around a video game. Most of them follow the Ben Drowned formula, and it's nigh impossible to make the act of playing a game scary, unsettling, etc.
Video game creepypastas were always a meme.

try this one on for size
>be asleep
>wake up
>see man
>"WHo" I say
>"Dad" he say
>I go back to sleep
>wake up in morning
>remember dad is dead
THEN WHO

my friend actually believed that was real

he wasn't even a kid, we're adults

...

I didn't mnd Ben Drowned, the first half that is, the second half, when it wasn't about video games, was fucking shit. The Godzilla one could have been good, but then it turned into "a monster came out of the TV but my dead girlfriend saved me". I don't think I've seen any form of media shit the bed as hard as that. I just hope Petscop can hold off from doing that, because it's doing a pretty good job at the moment.

>go to antique game store
>looking through some N64 games since parents gave me my old one back
>trying to find some classics like Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time
>Find an unmarked cartridge with a sticky on it titled "Zelda"
>buy it, take it home
>plop it in
>beginning intro of link riding his hose is gone
>start the game, Link is riding through some dark woods
>a skeleton pops out
>turn off the game

never again

>see piles of dead bodies in building
>fuck i'm hungry
>look for food
I kek'd.

>Preferring McDonwalds over rodding corpsis
compleatly shaddered my immersian
0/10

>Custom game with title written by a sharpie
>Hyper realistic eyes
>blood everywhere
>Character doesn't act like a character normally would and is depressed/scared/evil
Only the NES Godzilla one is any decent mostly due to it not giving a fuck

The ending was anime-tier shit though

Nes Godzilla. Read it last night after seeing a thread like this. It was pretty good, but the ending is pretty shite. Didn't ruin the journey of it all, though.

Ayo this post is bananas

I already read that one but i guess i can do it again, there was this one dramatization video that was enjoyable

JVK is one of few good gaming creepypastas
Mainly because it could actually happen.

Yeah, it lost me as well when the characters started crying blood.

This was the single greatest shitpost in the history of mankind

The butthurt from that day was immeasurable

It's a good song, too

This is so fucking good for so many reasons. I love it.

jvk.esp was the best, yeah.

Runner-ups are Killswitch and The Theater.

Kino-tier is the Princess.

The fuck is Petscop? Some kind of shitty ongoing copy pasta?

Pale Luna is one I've always been partial towards.

I don't get it.

Fuck, I forgot about Pale Luna. It's definitely up there, simply for the fact that it's 100% possible with no supernatural elements whatsoever.

Any story that manages to be creepy as fuck without resorting to spooky ghosts is a win.

>There are people browsing this board with you right now that not only have read creepypastas, but have read enough to be expert critics and have a list of their favorites

Hahaha

They're just short stories, try having some fun once in a while

Horror is fun, and bad horror is even more fun

its a video series with impressive production values. it references real life cases child abuse and rebirthing therapy
youtube.com/watch?v=6e6RK8o1fcs

still the best

the sad thing is, the Ben Drowned story was quite creepy and well done until people started flaking on Jadusable and he developed depression from the thousands of people playing.

At least they've actually actually read literature. Shit literature, but literature nonetheless. What do you read? Manga? Embarrassing

A creepypasta about a spooky Majora's Mask cartridge ended with this video
youtube.com/watch?v=473G80r1T_w

>shit literature, but literature nonetheless
Literature so shit it doesn't deserve to even be called literature and is instead called fan-fiction, you're not convincing anyone. Manga is at the very least professionally written and edited. Fanfinction is rarely ever even spell-checked.

Ah, so you admit that you read manga? No wonder you don't have a girlfriend

>I can still see those deku scrubs chasing me in my dreams

>reading creepypastas is somehow better than reading manga

>literature
the average creepypasta is only slightly above the quality of youtube comments.

Reading creepypasta is autistic but at least you aren't reading a picture book.

>look to the sky

m.youtube.com/watch?v=a_irXDDTlqM

Its "watch the sky"

Beacause they are all the same story
This applies to creepypastas in general as well
If you've read one of them, you have read them all

Thanks hombre

>wanted to post the fake image of a guy eating a donut
>this image contains hazardous code
F-fuck

>downloaded the legit version
RIP user

...

>how did mcdonald become like this?

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

There. I saved it. Now someone tell me what the fuck I just saved and if I have to nuke my harddrive.

Does it even works on a miniature though?

I think Killswitch is really, really interesting, except for the "Deletes itself off of your computer and can't be copied" bit.

It's a neat story that manages to be spooky without any real horror or supernatural occurrences. It seems like something that could have actually been developed in the 80's an fell off into an obscure cult thing.

Why, its a picture of Araki eating a donut.
What else would it be?

Screamer that fucks up bootmgr after a 2 week timer

Well shit.

Not him but I would much rather tell people I read manga than several renditions of the exact same story written by illiterate children

I just read it, pretty fucking good.

YO THIS BEAT IS BANANAS

youtube.com/watch?v=473G80r1T_w

This was 5 years ago.

>how did mcdonald's end up like this?

Every fucking time

Keep in mind though that there are many versions that do nothing, some are older versions that will trigger the hazardous code thing while others are just regular images people post to fear monger, the ones that can fuck up your computer are stealth enough to pass the blocks and you can only tell them apart with the programs used to make them

>I don't know why I kept playing, I felt I had to finish it

>Keep your images off my imageboard faggit
