In a way, the limitations TellTale had back in Season 1 meant that they had to focus and polish what they had as much as they could, and focus on more slower parts which let you bond more with characters.

Now they're pressured to make things more hectic and dramatic by just upping the ante, but you lose the intimate bond you have with the characters, and the choices you make don't seem any more consequential than they were in S1 despite things being portrayed as bigger.

Yeah, she was written out of the game because she was actually a comic character, and Kirkman wanted to connect the character in a novel that would bridge the game and comics together.

Then he changed his mind because he didn't like her in the game, so he literally told the novel author to treat Lilly as a new character, shrugging it off as "There are just two similar-looking Lilly's with the same name living in Georgia"

TellTale Lilly is probably never coming back to avoid confusion. She was crazy anyways, just assume she got herself killed while having her mental breakdown.

I'd have happily left the kid in Wellington, but I wasn't going to leave Kenny. One of the main reasons I had no interest in S3 is I know they'd fuck up Kenny.

S2's ending was adequate enough. Star Wars taught me well - if a franchise looks like it's going in a dreadful direction, best to just leave with fond memories, not continue in the face of frustration, disappointment and tarnished memories.
