Back to r*ddit.

Solo 1cc'd it on the first try.

this desu senpai

2/10 needs more buzzwords

same here bro

Until the names glitched out and went invincible after taking too long. I got past Square Enix hell though.

that can happen?

post yfw

It's just another platinum credits minigame, I didn't even care about it.

Business Division fucked my shit up.

Loved how the devs sang in this.

>we
back to summerschool, lad
don't stay up too late or your mom will get upset

...

Got up to Squeenix's marketing division on my first try. Spent the next 3 hours trying to fight through by myself without ever reaching another checkpoint, if there even is one. After I gave up and accepted help I then finished the rest in one try.

the final straw
after everything being greeted with this at the end just left me empty Nier 1 >2

yeah fuck those weebcringeautistcancerbetacuckfaggotredditplebnewfagnumales

same here, except at one point I accidently pressed give up which is when i said fuck this and cleared it with help instead of having to grind again to get the damage buff

Always happens after a certain amount of time, which is double the time it takes for the names to get less HP. Likely a glitch and the names were actually intended to get progressively easier to kill.

There's at least one more checkpoint, I got past that part.

*choir kicks in*

>tfw Automata is the last console game Taro will ever make
>he now works on mobile gachashit

>Tell me God
>Are you...punishing me?
>Is this the price I'm paying for my past mistakes?

I deleted by save at the end to help others, wtf is this?

Optional Lv.99 boss fight, accessing it requires you fully upgrade all your weapons

Hey user, maybe you should try some mobage before shitting on them. They're fun little diversions you can play for five minutes while taking a shit.

I play Terra Battle and GBF, yeah they're fun

It's just that it would be a shame if all he'll ever work on from now on are mobage.

So how does this work on pirated versions? They can't get any help and probably won't be able to complete it

it's doable, people have done it on youtube, just really tedious and time consuming. what sucks more is that you can't see the messages of others in the continue screen, you're stuck with the same 5 "IS LIFE POINTLESS Y/N/" messages

t. piratefag

Not pirated, but I did play fully offline on console. You do not get any backup at all, it all has to be done solo. You get checkpoints, unlimited tries. However I could not complete towards the very end where players typically have to use the other players. I tried like 20 times. If you quit, it just goes back to last save. Kinda dumb its not really possible unless you are a shmup master, but then again it was never intended to be done that way.

>fully upgrade all your weapons
Does it mean I have to get all the weapons in the game? And lvl. 4 all of them?

Jesus. Where does he live? I saw some guy going to his house and getting the mask in Route A.

>I deleted by save at the end to help others
Oh, so that's why they asked that question. I pressed no.

>Does it mean I have to get all the weapons in the game? And lvl. 4 all of them?
Yep, it's not as hard as it sounds but you will have to grind a bit

>Where does he live?
City Ruins, in one of the pipes leaking out water along the edge of the big crater thing
I don't think you can access his house until you complete 'Emil's Memories' first

The optional boss fight against him at his house isn't the one that requires maxed weapons. It's just a fun optional boss.

The maxed weapons one is a feelsy sidequest and the final ending of the game.

Sweet, thanks. Wouldn't be a NieR game without some grinding I guess.

I remember fucking with the PS3 internal clock to make money for Ending D of the first NieR.

you don't have to grind.
set difficulty on easy and go to where you first met adam and just leave auto-chips on and let it level you to 60 in a few minutes, then go fight the rabbit in the amusement park for a quick level 99

The fuck are you on about? The section before you fight Adam is on a timer, and the Rabbit gives fuck all EXP.

not before you fight adam in the mission, just that area after you've beaten it. the mobs infinitely respawn and you just let it go.
and that rabbit gave me around 50-60k exp every time i beat it. it only took me around 8 fights to max my shit.

The rabbit got me from 60 to 70 in one kill. They may have patched down the EXP gain though, I'm still on 1.03 aka the one before they ruined the framerate and introduced a bunch of bugs.

>patched
Good thing I'm on PC, I don't think there's ever been a patch.

;_;

I don't think I downloaded any patches for it at all and the rabbit gave me fuck all for EXP, not enough for a single level at around 60. Do you get less EXP for hacking or something?

I'm the guy that suggested the rabbit, im on pc patched to whatever fitgirl repack was set to.
I think the problem might be you are too low a level to gain quick on it, if you fight it several times the exp gain will grow a lot. keep hacking and fill your shit up with exp chips.

There's a cutoff point somewhere around that level range to prevent you from "cheesing" to max level from very low by hacking. Once you're past level 60 it suddenly gives shitloads of EXP.

Also if you're on console with no patches you're playing a laggy mess with game breaking bugs, patching is better than being on 1.0. 1.3 was still the best patch though.

That would explain it.
>Also if you're on console with no patches you're playing a laggy mess with game breaking bugs, patching is better than being on 1.0. 1.3 was still the best patch though.
I mean, there weren't even any patches out by the time I finished it.

you can't even fight him until you're level 60, but yeah after that it's smooth sailing.

You can fight him at any level.

I was faced with the realization that I care more about Nier 1 than I do Automata by about 20 fold

youtube.com/watch?v=ue9fSBRFpNs

I cried.

I'm pretty sure Taro knew that would happen too, hence Emil.

Going from D into E was a fucking mistake, i was almost crying on D already.
Then suddenly E happened, holy shit.
>Taro has actually confirmed multiple times that E is a happy end
