Just a couple of my Sup Forums friends chatting about games
>Get any nice money yet?
You do realise even successful streamers earn close to the living wage, right?
I really don't understand why people just don't get a job instead.
I cohost NudeClan podcast and we run the Ultima Final Fantasy Podcast too. You probably heard of us we are in the top rankings for iTunes for geek gaming stuff recently.
Our YT and Twitch is pretty low though but we are making nice money now even got E3 invites for me and my hosts.
>cuck plz
Do you even know there are about 30% of Twitch streamers that work part time and the remaining time stream and make more 6 figures a year?
my cousin started streaming minecraft on there when he was in his teenage years and now he is an adult and makes like $300-$800 every time he streams easy. Thats more than I make a day.

hi i stream you're talking out your ass
People that pull in 2-5k viewership earn roughly somewhere between $20k-$50k, so yeah, you're not far off 2bh. You would probably be just as well off at any semi skilled job.
Oh so sorry sweetie that your daily autistic streams of Shadow the Hedgehog aren't getting you lots of money on Twitch.
Nowhere really.
I think I should just start making movies and submit them to sundance or something instead.
Everything is too saturated now.
Everyone is negative.
Nobody wants to collab or have fun anymore.
Its just a pyramid scheme and now youtube is filtering out everyone who isnt already part of their pyramid.

Im not very good at being on camera and stuff.
Im pretty sure to do it 24/7.
Nobody ever shows up either.
Not a single person shows up to call me a faggot or anything.
Its just me streaming to nobody for 8 hours.
It makes me feel like I broke off from the space station and im just sending out transmissions as I drift through the eternity of endless space.

heard good things about Vidme and its like old days of Youtube with nice fun people
Here is my channel
I let's obscure games that are weird or spooky, yume nikki fangames or do other stuff like exploring worlds.com.
266 subs
It is not a job
I do not monetize my videos
Here is a video
Working on a video right now.

nice obscure shit user
Nothing is sader as a full equipped youtuber/streamer with no viewers
Youtube/Twitch is dying
example or proof?
Nobody has been negative so far. One guy offered criticism and he backed his opinion with a video of his own showing why he favored his opinion.
It honestly seems pretty decent so far.
>that moment you realize your channel only attracts retarts
I currently do Overwatch videos

Granted I put out lower quality shit after my first video but I'm looking to change that. I wanted to try a News & Speculation video , and put videos out quickly, but a lot of people didn't like it so I'm not doing those anymore. Trying for something a bit closer to my first video. Quality over Quantity and all that.
Overwatch is the new Destiny as in something good to use as the main focus of your channel.
I've never fucked with YT, but my Twitch channel is going alright.
It's my second channel, the first one was relatively successful, 100 or so viewers each time I went live, a decent amount of followers too, it just became embarrassing.
I've recently started another channel, regularly getting 3-4 viewers, have 5 followers and 100 total views.
Haven't made a penny from either and I stream almost daily, no overlays, usually no mic, just straight gameplay as it should be.
I would love to be able to make this my job because LOLNEET, but I don't see it happening in this timeline.
I need to learn how2edit, I got Vegas but it may aswell be in a different language, I should get reading.
that sounds fun
The absolute state of this board...
don't act like this isn't a weekly topic for years on here
>newfag detected
All I need for a new computer is the memory. Finding a 16GB kit of any speed DDR4 for relatively cheap.
After that, I'm tempted to start doing YouTube videos again.
>don't act like this isn't a weekly topic for years on here
It never has been, it only started some months ago with the same posters reposting the same thread with the same images and wording every day or so.
this topic isn't videogames and will never and will never be acceptable here no matter how much you circlejerk about it with your fellow redditors
>redditors
>not reddit users
>newfag from 9gag detected
>When you just want to upload raw gameplay with no commentary
>Always forget to do it when I start a new game
>No one will watch any way
I streamed Elite Dangerous before it came out once to show a friend it and ended up with 60 people watching once, that was pretty fun explaining the game to people, shame its impossible to get viewers these days
I know that feel. Got Tekken 7 6 days early. Streamed it on Twitch for hours. 0 people watched me.
Yeah, unless you want to spam yourself around the place no one will watch, and fuck doing that I know how annoying it is. I've streamed a couple of games for Sup Forums in the past when justin.tv was a thing that the only time I've linked my own shit as people were begging for some one to stream the games
as someone who posted their channel in this thread, i have to agree with him that you are fucking retarded and new here.
I can tell just by the way you typed out your implications
>not reddit users
is unnecessary
>newfag from 9gag detected
should not be implied.
your post seems extremely forced and looks like you're still learning how to even use implications properly.
lurk some more and don't post for another few months, you only embarass yourself.

i upload random shit to YT
i've been streaming MW2 on twitch again. might try bad company 2 again my PC cant handle streaming anything new. I'd like to stream PUBG just but its just to much even using NVENC (GTX 1070) its too much. i want to get a ryzen 5 1600X but i cant be bothered with windows 10 so i guess im just sticking to older games.
Maybe unrelated but I remember 4 gigs or so is the cutoff for files being retrievable in a ntsf harddrive.
Anything larger is unable to fit in one chunk on the harddrive and gets split so if your hardrive ever fails or you delete those files in anyway you can only recover if they were under that 4 gig limit.
t.rexhomosexual
I think its the device itself, I only use it for games that are 1080p 60 fps anything below I use my live gamer portable I have 10 gig video recorded but when I tried to record smash it cuts at 4 gigs and then continues recording the program cut the smash video into 2 files

NO!
Just kidding:
youtube.com
(BUT IT'S GERMAN ONLY!!!)
Well first and foremost, in order to make it on YouTube or Twitch you cannot be socially inept. By that I mean you have to have an active form of social media. Either a Facebook group or Twitter. You also need to network with other creators. If you are scared about reaching out to a fellow video-maker, you are going to fail. That is just the reality of any media focused outlet.
Reddit has dedicated boards, great for sharing shit especially if its niche. Common as fuck stuff like Pokémon or Zelda, you are better off finding dedicated websites for those franchises and seeing if any of them do community blogs. ZeldaInformer for example is great if you actually have something worth saying (No a LP is not worth sharing)
Dropping like $5 on YouTubes promotion feature gets like 300 views which can be a good jumping off point in some cases
Next up is time-zones. The largest demographics will typically be centred around the language you are speaking. Since its a 99.9% probability that everyone here is making videos in English... Uploading at peak bum-fuck slav time ain't gonna get you attention unless you are talking Polish or Russian. Try and aim for uploads going public between 3 and 5PM EST.
Why?
School kids will be out of class or home by than and likely check YouTube. It will be between 8PM to 10PM in the evening in the EU, so you'll still strike an international demographic on top.
As for the AUS fags? They'll be ahead and likely see the upload the next morning for them. Boom, dealt with everyone.
Next is branding. YouTube does not have a preview window for vids which means you need to make your thumbnail as inviting and appealing as possible. In other words, that means you need to actually know how to edit or create yourself a template to work with!
Arranging audio and dragging it over your gameplay TBFP style ain’t worth shit if you don’t have the visuals to lure someone in. Inconsistency within your branding will also make it harder for people to find the shit you upload.
Avoid – Overused colours. Hot Red, Orange, Baby Blue, Turquoise. Basically anything that is in the pallet window on Microsoft paint. Every tom, dick and harry picks from that. Find a colour scheme that isn’t overdone. You know learn the basics about colours before you pretend you know how video-game design works.
Just playing Darkest Dungeon Radiant mode, since I suck too much to beat it on the normal version youtube.com
all that spacing
>obviously tumblrkin

There's nothing to see
As if any mortal earning a few bucks could afford to do live streaming or youtubing.
Even if I compressed 4 to 40 GB vids down to 2 GB, the upload of a single 20-30 minute video would still take roughly 2 hours with 700 KB/sec.
And then you have to have the luck of buying a mic and/or camera that works as intended on your machine, since the only advice you can get on hardware is "uh...it SHOULD work", cause nobody even understands how the compatibility or the technical aspects of these work, but everyone thinks they're such a diehard hardware pro with their 8-core PCs and the newest what they believe to be "cost-efficient" PCs but are actually far above what any average person would buy.

Just a reminder that this thread is an advertising thread, and that advertising is against the rules. By shilling your own channel you can (and deserve to) be banned.
Also a reminder to the mods who will eventually delete this thread that /ec/ - E-celebs should be a board so that e-celeb posting can be sidelined and threads like this can have a home instead of being here.

That's because your videos are terrible.
All that trying to be funny... I'm embarrassed for you.
Last video I made
youtube.com
my YouTube channel made me realize how boring and uncreative I am
I tried monitizing a video that ended up getting upwards of 400,000 views and I only made about 35 dollars so I'm just not going to monitize them. My only concern is if youtube would promote my videos less if they didn't make money from them.
Rude.
Also rude, but it's okay, everyone loves me.

100 viewers on average without even talking? Gotta call bullshit. What games did you even play?
i might scrap it because it's gonna be troublesome to find voice actors and animating and editing takes a long time
