the PC version is alright, the recommended settings on the Steam page state that you can run it fine with a Geforce 760 and an i7-4770k CPU

The story is ok when you get to the end and everything is explained to you. The pacing is awful, though.

make sure your pawn gains a lot of level as a warrior, for the stat gain

Ideally while you're still in the lvl 10-100 range, otherwise, above level 100, stats gain are drastically reduced

does this game ever get fun? I'm going full sorcerer and it's a pain in the butt. i'm not very far, but from what i understand the only fun i have to look forward to is watching a 2 minute long cutscene of powerful spells that destroy everything.

Everything in this game is absolute dogshit to be honest. The quests, the story, the characters, the movies.

Seriously the only good parts about DD is obviously the combat and the time in the game where you are new to it and explore areas. Everything else is just so unnecessarily tedious.

Yes, should be the usual 7 or so in-game days. Rest at an inn to skip days, but be aware that sleeping on a BBI bench only passes about 1 in game HOUR, not day.
