Amazing that anybody can hold their lunch in after seeing that garbage. But hey, at least you earned your nintenshekels for the day, so you've got that going for you which is nice.

>Implying I am a retarded nintenbro
I am playing this on CEMU and it is honestly amazing

I cannot believe that they have different biomes in one single world.

Holy fucking shit.

>Biomes

This is as close to art as it gets

Is there a more magical game than Breath of the Wild?

Incredible

#handcrafted

I need a pitch-black-rudania's location but not as claustrophobic as the dark woods

What are we supposed to be looking at?

Yes it is.

There's currently in camps
1) People who think it is one of the best games ever made.
2) People who think the game is pretty good but have issues with the game's minor faults or design choices.
3) People who dislike it because it's too much of a deviation from the types of tropes they want in a Zelda game
4) People who are absolutely ass blasted and live a state of seething rage and denial that Nintendo could have possibly dared to make another good game.

Me on the left in number 2

Put me in camp #1. This is the game I have wanted all my life.

I'm a mix between 1 and 2.

It looks pretty good but is there a way to change filter or something? landscapes seem to have some annoying film over them, colors aren't vivid

The landscapes are so interesting and varied, my only issue is the the enemies within them are not. I wish this game a much larger variety of enemies and bosses, it would more than make up for the dungeon aspect.

The world's consistency kind of falls apart when you find out there's Guardians roaming near stables and shit. There's also a Bokoblin camp right outside Lurelin village with nothing to stop them from invading. They don't even have guards patrols.

Old versions of cemu had trouble with that shitty fog and the game looked unironically much better

Now vaseline is back in action

these screenshots remind me of Dragon's Dogma when it was a PC exclusive. Like yeah the art direction is good and it's a solid game, but DEAR CHRIST is the visual fidelity terrible. I mean that fucking resolution man, holy fuck.

If you are playing on switch, the colour mode is set to limited range.

If you go into the system settings and change it to FULL range you should immediately see a more vibrant game. Sounds really obvious but you would be amazed how many switch owners are still on the default colour setting.

The actually DO invade. The locals are sick of it. One of the side quests from the village is for you go and kick their asses.

2.5, the faults aren't minor, and the "tropes" existed for a reason and were just replaced by other much more inferior tropes.

But they just come back after a blood moon and no one ever mentions it.

The game doesn't have a single MAJOR fault. Only minor nitpicks blown out of proportion by people who desperately want there to be something wrong with the game.

The tropes have been getting stale. Everyone was getting bored and wanted something fresh. Nintendo were damned if they do, damned of they don't.

>meanwhile, in reality...

This looks nice and makes you wanna play the game before you realize that his is the proof that the map is basically just grass, some sand and sometimes snow and fuckall

>The game doesn't have a single MAJOR fault.
Poor difficulty curve is one in my opinion, while past Zeldas have been fairly easy throughout Breath of the Wild starts out pretty challenging but then plateaus hard unless you impose self limitations.

Wouldn't a major fault be that it has so many minor ones that keep it from being perfect

Just Cause 2 probably did that best.

Nah Xenoblade X did it best. Doesn't re-use assets between regions like BOTW does, either.

I agree with this, the other thing is that you don't get a wide array of tools like you do in a link to the past for example. That was the one thing I missed the most from this zelda.

Wrong

>the other thing is that you don't get a wide array of tools like you do in a link to the past for example.
But this game gives you more ways to deal with enemies than past Zelda games, so I don't see the problem.

That's not what the game looks like. The screenshot function on the switch really fucks the resolution for some reason. Even worse when exported to twitter or whatever

>Xcx

Pure kino

Reminds me how boring the game is and how little content there is.
Cool areas, but boring everything else, along with shit story and music.

I found the world very bland. Just a mass of emptiness with patches of quality applied onto the void. Those patches are nice but the emptiness is substantial.

There is a lot of good things about the game but some sort of rich detailed world with a lot of visual depth is not one of them.

I think having no content is a major fault.
No gear progression, no gadgets or legit good puzzles, too much space between areas.

Weapon breaking is also an annoyance.

The game also runs and looks like shit.

I feel like these are pretty major. Most games would be blasted for this stuff.

That I don't agree with. You have way more toys and environmental factors to play with and the depth of those interactions is unparalleled. The flexibility of say, attaching octoballons to things, and the way it synergizes with the Korok Leaf or campfires or stasis creates so many unique effects.

Compare that to LttP where a fourth of your inventory redundantly stuns enemies.

too many meadows to be the mountain climbing simulatior of 2017

>N-No content!

Everytime.

>these screenshots remind me of Dragon's Dogma when it was a PC exclusive

>S-S-SONY!!!

It really doesn't. Collecting spirit orbs 98% of the time is not proper content. It's just bite sized, meaningless shit that you never feel you need or has substantial benefits. Everything you fight either one shots you or doesnt, and in most cases, you can run past anything because the AI is completely braindead.

Is Botw the new Dark Souls?

>Dragon's Dogma
>ever PC exclusive
I'm a PCfag, but you didn't do your research if you seriously believe DD was ever a PC exclusive title.

The funny thing is this doesn't even work in the game or it's way harder to pull off than it looks. And it's not really useful.

I always wondered who did this? Some casual random guy playing the demo? Aonuma himself?

This one not so good

Where is the location second from the bottom right?

...

>it doesn't even work in the game
>its fucking gameplay

?????

>NPCs always tell you bomb arrows are precious, rare, or expensive
>never use them
>half of the story NPCs give you 20 bomb arrows each
>end up with 200 bomb arrows because I never used them

...

>this doesn't even work in the game or it's way harder to pull off than it looks.
What doesn't work? using bomb arrows will always lit the grass, jumping off a horse is just the press of one button. I don't get at all how that is hard to pull of or doesn't work.
Explain.

But this one is my favourite since it's sunny, colorful and the grass looks so clean and dense in it without any compression jaggies.

Not even close.

>Muh pretty colors

Horizon Zero Dawn™ on Sony™ PlayStation® 4 looks better

boards.fireden.net/_/search/filename/1493945034447.jpg/
change it up a little, op
this is bokoblin camp levels of repetitive

>the rarest arrow type ends up being normal arrows
>no way to craft normal arrows

>look mom!! i posted it again!!

I've seen this same thread multiple times.

What I meant is that it's extremely situational and usually not worth it anyway. I mean, you don't even need to be this far up the sky for the slow-mo, just jumping off the horse is enough. In case you even need the slow-mo.

And you have to approach the Guardian from behind without it noticing you. The webm makes it look like he is doing it mid-fight which of course would be way cooler. Mid-fight it's almost impossible.

Camp 1) for me. One of the most amazing gaming experiences I've had in years.

>>look mom!! i posted it again!!
>I've seen this same thread multiple times.

Welcome to Sup Forums!
How was your first week?

No since it looks the same everywhere, is generic, has no love for detail at all and when you actually played it, you immediately feel how soulless it is. Can't interact with anything. Literally the whole game is just an orange field without an art direction.

My brother got the Vah Medoh cutscene with the blood moon at the same time, it was beautiful, shame he didn't take any screenshots.

>You don't need to

Let me tell you about this little thing called FUN

Let me know when you can do webm related in Horizon.

Why does this never work for me? I always just slipp off of it.

>you have to approach the Guardian from behind without it noticing you
>Mid-fight it's almost impossible
Not true, battling a guardian in horse is way easier than anything, the guardian has a hard time beaming you unless you are really really close (still it won't be a direct hit) and you will always crit as long you have the horse running, so cutting the guardian's legs is easier.

>Dragonball

I am neither a weeb nor a nigger thank you very much

Why are these so touched up?
The game has a bright ass green piss filter and looks nothing like this.

t. I only saw YouTube footage

It does. You just have to be lucky with the weather or be in the western regions.

Pic related. 100% untouched. Switch compresses screens and it's 720p instead of 900p, though.

>Why are these so touched up?
The OP admits to taking them in CEMU.
Doesn't stop him from making the thread every other day and acting like BotW actually looks like that.

>Actually looks like that

Well it does on CEMU so

Hope so. I want everyone to copy it.

I always thought MM had the worst ChuChus but BotW's are really ugly.

Yeah, that's why I have those screenshots literally directly from my Switch.

Only like 20% of the screenshots are Cemu or somehow altered.

I'm not the OP, btw.

They're too generic and it lacks the morbid atmosphere Zelda usually has.

Is there a consistent way to get Eightfold Blades?

Want more weeb weapons.

I would have been blown away by the world in Zelda if I hadn't already played Xenoblade X beforehand, which makes it look amateurish in comparison.

Souls is pure trash, though, so better not. You can't even climb a fucking fece. Even The Surge is better but reviewers give it lower scores because they won't get torn apart by fanboys when they do it.

Souls games are unpolished, unfair trash without any puzzles, humor or varitey.

TP has the worst chuchus.

Xenoblade and Xenoblade X CREATED new biomes and for that, they are untouchable.

Is that Korok Forest at night?

Well, there is that lizard near that one shrine between Kakariko and I think Zora's Domain with the almost constant rain. He always has one, so always check it out after a red moon.

What if my reason for not playing it is that I dislike Nintendo's business practices and don't want to support them at all?

this

I vaguely remember that, I'll check it out, thanks.

What about Wind Cleavers? Any consistent way to get them?

Well that's pretty dumb, because you could use CEMU.

>muh infinitesimal graphical details
colors look nice always
details look nice rarely

Yiga blademasters only have them I think, If you want them to appear often then always stay near a road, in my experience they appear a lot in akkala roads.

Yeah.

Xenoblade X is 10x better than this garbage on worse hardware.

Looks really good, was there anything else there to do besides get the Master Sword and some Shrines?

I was very impressed with the sheer variety of unique flora in every region in Horizon.
I'm not allowed to say that in this thread, though, am I?

Shit like that makes exploration fun even if you don't find anything substantial.

The games are basically bros, one is more varied and denser, the other one has more interactivity and actual gameplay/puzzle solving. Both with some of the same people working on them.

Stop being a retard and making yourself unhappy.

Yikes. Turn down the saturation before taking screenshots next time.
