All my GC games are still on my shelf and work in my Wii (which is also still on my shelf), so I don't need GC on VC unless they're enhanced like the Pokemon Snap VC that let you save your pictures to your Wii memory. So Melee or F-Zero with online basically.

DigitalFoundry just about managed 30fps emulation with Dolphin on an Nvidia Shield. The Switch has the same Tegra running at a third of the clock speed. If Nintendo games couldn't emulate SNES games on an o3DS then good luck to them with a Gamecube virtual console on the Switch.

The gamecube only had 2 triggers and a bumper. THe switch has 2 triggers and 2 bumpers. Just set the extra bumper to act as a half pull on the gamecube trigger.
