BotW

What is it about this game that makes people so upset?

There isn't a single game that doesn't make me upset.

it's good

I don't get it either, there's far too many people who start frothing at the mouth if you so much as imply that the game might be a point or two below 10/10.

Are you implying it is?

What is it about criticism of this game that makes people so upset?

I don't know. Every time I discuss BotW with Nintendofanboys and point out its obvious flaws, they get incredibly upset, as if they think BotW is some perfect and unique game and nobody is allowed to criticize it.

It sacrifices a lot of the Zelda elements - not to necessarily say that's a bad thing

The bosses are CARTOONISHLY EASY

Weapon durability is far too low

Otherwise solid 8/10 imo

No good female waifu

But do you acknowledge the greatness of the game also? Because it heavily overshadows its flaws.

Oh, and the frame rate is pretty unacceptable, but that's unfortunately become a console norm. It's probably because it's a Wii U port

Yeah, it's the first Zelda in a long, long time to actually give the player a sense of satisfaction so I was pleasantly surprised with it, but there's still just enough wrong that one has to wonder why criticism of the game is considered verboten. I think I would place the game around 8/10, it's a return to form in terms of quality and I hope criticism of the game isn't completely drowned out by overly vocal fanboys so that the next Zelda can be even better.

its a good game and people dont like that

What is it about this game that makes people so upset?

I haven't been keeping up with cemu releases, how is the latest update doing in terms of performance and bugs? Is it worth bothering with now?

8/10 is being way too rough on it. The only thing bad that BotW did was have framerate issues at release.

Game is severely lacking trees.

High hanging fruit. Since there's less than 3 million legitimate players in the world and this is an installment in the colloquially-known greatest series of all time, it stands to reason all the hungry foxes are butthurt they can't play it.

I have 100 hours in the game but haven't beat it but don't wanna go back. Guess I got bored or something but I don't got the urge to go back

Nah, BotW is incredibly flawed, from its awful and unmemorable music to lackluster dungeon design to a pointless and only detrimental weapon degradation system to very little motivation to explore since most of the things you find can will break in a few swings. I enjoyed my time with BotW, but that was because I was willing to accept the many flaws to explore and find more great sections like Eventide Island.

Outside of Sup Forums it's pretty much unanimously liked. Sup Forums hates every single thing in the universe besides traps.

The beginning was kind of shite and I put it off, but I slowly played more of it and it was okay.
