Reminder that the Halo 4/5 elite design itself is fine, it's just their armor is fucking garbage.

Underneath the armor, they combine the more lithe proportions of CE/2 elites with the fiercer visuals of reach elites, except without going full retard and making them look like full out monsters and while still preseriving the proportions of the original elite design.

You just can't tell because the armor over the actual anatomy is so fucking stupid looking and makes them look bulky when they are actually skinnier built then Reach, Wars, and Halo 3 elites

Zero is really cool no matter what it's just a art style change really

Except the Halo 3 and 2 design has the top mandible in the exact same spot, take a close look in the image.

The only difference is that for the 2/3 design, the teet face downwards, not inwards. But for the 4/5 design, the teeth also only start further down the mandible, so it still wouldn't poke themselves in the face.

I dislike Super as much as the next guy, but History of Trunks is an OVA, which has quite a bit more of a budget than the standard episode for a televised anime.

There is nothing wrong with the Zero series design.

I think Cheif's redesign is pretty good. The aliens definitely peaked at Reach, then went to shit in 5 though.

I think their armor designs were way better than any of the other games. It was the only Halo game where I didn't mind playing as them.

They're armor is over designed and look like something Brutes would wear, I enjoyed the simple designs they had in Halo 1-3 before every other Halo designed to go crazy with their designs.

How did they even get away with the H4 grunts? I can't believe someone actually say down and wasted time designing that thing. Then they had the balls to show it to someone else, and it actually ended up in the game.

Honestly my biggest gripe with the new designs isn't the armor itself (sometimes, anyway), but the coloring.

Reach Elites have the most sex appeal and it's the only reason I like the design

I partly agree. I think it was hit and miss with some god tier hits.

Halo Reach's Mk 5 was my favorite variation of Mk 5. Also the starting armor for Noble 6 (I think it was just Mk 5B) was pretty fucking rad.
