What are some videogames with some good plot twists?

What are some videogames with some good plot twists?

...

virtues last reward i think. i just started it though.

Ghost Trick
Xenoblade Chronicles
Ace Attorney Investigations 2
999

>not saying 999

soul nomad

>reused plot twist
>good

I wonder if the Little Witch Academia game will have a twist. Maybe something like Chariot sucked out the magic from her audience to carve that symbol in the moon and she's the reason Akko is shit at magic and can't ride a broom.

SO3's plot twist is fucking insane if you go in unspoiled

Really well executed

Deadly Premonition

Nah, the real twist is that Woodfucker is evil and Ursula is Shiny Chariot

>Ghost Trick
It's a good twist but you can see it coming from miles away

Thief Gold. I had to watch the cutscene twist twice in disbelief.

Prince of Persia Sands of Time
The hero fails so hard at saving the world, he has to reverse time just to fix everything.

Bioshock 1

>sequel never ever
It's a shame, as cheesy as it was I genuinely enjoyed it.

Baten Kaitos had the best single twist.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is runner up.
The World Ends With You had a bunch of good individual twists that were well spaced out throughout most of the game and then just thrown at you with reckless abandon in the last 15% of the game.

>spoiler
USO DA!

>Ursula is Shiny Chariot
Bullshit

I dropped LWA halfway through cause it was full of mildly entertaining filler that never seemed to go anywhere except for a minute or two every episode. What did Christmas Cake do?

Bitch, that was obvious since the very first OAV was released years ago.
Are people really this dense?

Tales of the Abyss

She unknowingly stole the magic of the audience in her shows, including Akko and Diana.

I agree.

Is that why she's all melancholy and alone and pathetic now?

Yes.

Then why can they still use it?

If you know there's going to be a plot twist, you ruin the twist for yourself. Defeats the whole purpose of asking for recommendations.

It was just the last show she did that. When realized how bad she fucked up, she altered everyone's memories with a spell and ran like a coward. She then changed her identity into Ursula and lived in shame. She sees tutoring Akko as a chance at atonement, in a sense.

I don't think the people who ask about it actually care if they know or not.

Jesus fuck, I'm beginning to think that OVAs taking place in an alternate dimension being the twist is sounding less and less stupid.

Diana practiced for a very long time to get her magic back. It's kinda rooted into her issues.
Akko would at least have normal aptitude, and the ability to fly on a broom, if not for what Ursula did. She's started at LN seriously gimped.

>Tutor someone you've crippled
That's awful, especially because it's her fault she'll never amount to anything now.

Everything seems obvious in hindsight

Should've stayed OVAs.

That's like cutting off someone's leg and then training them in track and field

Not like it matters. Akko will just become magic Jesus once she gets the seventh word.

LIAR

If Akko breaks the seal on the Triskelion, none of that's gonna matter.

Just saying.

>Akko gets the Grand Triskelion
>Just as everything's going to shit
>The world might be about to end
>Ursula's probably dead
>Akko does the only thing she can think of to save everyone and undo the damage
>Pulls a full Innocent Sin level world reset
>Becomes the world of the OVAs

>End of Academia
>Akko full mind break
>Akko and Andrew emerge from the yay

Why did Ursula think blowing a hole in the fucking moon was a good idea?

Nigga it's a joke

Another case of the initial concept being ten times more interesting than the final product.

Hey, I like the series a lot.

I'll admit it's a vastly different thing, though.

Too much slapstick not enough cool shit like Dragons.

>ywn shower Akko with kisses when she's feeling down

ny heart...

Time to pick up LWA again

...

MGSV

None of them because if you read any form of literature, you can see them coming a mile away.

MGS 2

wow, you're so enlightened

*tips safari hat*
