Why haven't you hacked your 3DS yet?

What was the cause of them?

I was about 80% done hacking my new 3ds a couple months ago, left it alone all this time until I decided to finish the job since hacking got easier. Well, it won't turn on. The screens come on but are only black, the blue light on the power led stays on, and nothing. If I take out the SD card, the blue light turns on then immediately off when I push the power button. What the fuck can I do? This is a mh4 n3ds, I can't lose this thing,i fucking love it. I made backups of everything, but I don't know how to fix this. Thanks.

Pretty sure the guide warns about not leaving hack halfway done on the new 3DS. Or at least it used to.

It's hard to tell if your 3DS is actually bricked or not, but once I've thought I've bricked it, and it turned out it was quite easy to fix.

Don't forget to make another backup first, just in case.

Insert your SD card to your PC, enter the directory "/Nintendo 3DS/*bunch of numbers and letters*/*bunch of numbers and letters #2*/extdata/00000000/" and then:

If your region is Japanese, delete folder "00000082".
If your region is United States, delete folder "0000008f".
If your region is Europe, delete folder "00000098".

It literally said in the guide the points at which you should not under any circumstances turn off or sleep your 3DS. That guy deserves a bricked system for being retarded.
