100+ games in my backlog
Other urls found in this thread:
Same but at least I played the arms testdemothing
It was fun
>tfw bought more games I'll never play
same

job gives you money but takes the time and energy
i hate it
I just fell for the sale every week meme.
>play games as a hobby, and not because I have to
>have no backlog
I want to pat Kanna's puffy mons while I kiss her cunny!
>thinking of getting DS2:SotFS from the humble monthly early unlock
>afraid that I'll never finish it since souls games are pretty long
Fucking anime episodes are 20 minutes long and I can't commit to watching one.
>not watching anime at 4x speed
Does anyone else keep track of their backlog in an excel spreadsheet?
>be literally anywhere but my house
>thinking "man i just wanna play vidya"
>"when i get home, I'll play X, then a little Y"
>get home
>browse Sup Forums until bed time
>Fucking anime episodes are 20 minutes long and I can't commit to watching one
You just need to find good anime to watch.
Planned on doing this with all games I own on Steam but I have 450 games and it's just way too much work to backtrack everything.
I use google keep and sort by platform.
>having a backlog
why do people do this to themselves
I don't know anymore tbqh.
grown ass men watch this embarrassing garbage
let that sink in
>games other people tell me to try
>new games in a genre or series I like, that I know I will probably adore but haven't gotten around to playing yet
It happens when you make the transition from "I want to play..." to "I want to have played..."
Couldn't you just pick ten games and stick them in a custom category? Then repeat once you've completed those ones (move played to another category).
They feel the need to do everything people say is good.
>farming sim
>sim game in a backlog
Those are endless though, aren't they? Like if you want to relax a bit and fuck around doing things in your own pace you play a sim.
>tfw switch to PS4
>play one game at a time, each keep my attention
>can't alt tab out
what's wrong with that
Once I get all the achievements I will delete the game or give the disc to a charitable organization.
Welcome to slice of life
>let that sink in
Where do you think you are?
It's even worse when you start a bunch of games and never finish any of them
I've been looking into PC builds I want.
thinking I'll spend £1000 and then just go play 10 year old games that I bought for a fiver.
I need to stop considering it until I at least finish the fucking PS2 games I haven't played yet.
This picture looks lazier and more depressed every time I see it.
It's because you buy a game that has good reviews or some buzz about it for an interesting mechanic or story or whatever, not necessarily because you're interested in the game enough to play it. Repeat 500 times
>Big steam discounts on vaguely interesting games
>whynot.buy
>never actually play it all
and thats how you get a backlog
>Had almost 400 games in my backlog in 2013
>dropped to just 20 this year
>mfw
That's me.
I have started Vanquish, Hollow knight, Night in the woods and a bunch ov VNs.
FUCK
>No backlog
>P-PC Master Race, amirite bro?
Those of you keeping all your games in a spreadsheet, can you please post yours? Want to make one my self but no idea how to get started.
>over 400 games in my backlog
>can't play them because I need to focus on trying to make friends with my new internet identity
>can't return to my old account ever unless I'm offline at all times due to fear of getting blackmailed
I fucking hate steam
>having a steam account
>blackmailed
Turn off auto log-in to friends, make profile private. Solved.
I use this site called backloggery.
I've seen games in the $1 tier of a Humble Bundle which were NEVER that cheap EVER AGAIN. In fact, this is true of most $1-tier Humble Bundle games. So sometimes it makes sense to buy a game even if you won't have time to play it for a while.
Other times, people might buy games at non-optimal prices and then fail to play them immediately. When this occurs, it's probably because they misjudged the amount of free time they would have.
It's also worth mentioning that some games are too long for their own good. Sometimes I'll start playing a game, and then toss it to the backlog when I get tired of the gameplay but still want to finish it.
>500+ games in my backlog
>beat two of them this weekend
>poorfag
>backlog consists of maybe 15+ games I could never afford
>Just finished Child of Light earlier this year
>no power for almost a week
>bought a bunch of new vidya out of boredom and surplus cash
>power comes back on just in time for the weekend and tons of free time
>spend that time browsing porn, watching youtube and browsing Sup Forums
time well spent.
shouldn't you spend that money to keep the lights on? what the fuck
...
>20170512
>demotivationals
Sleep tight, pizza
It's still true tho
>want to buy a new game
>got a big fat wishlist
>browse g2jew sites for best prices
>ask vee what to get
>never buy any new game
Damn I'm bad at buying myself something new.
>buy a game
>play it for 1-3 hours
>"wow, this game is great!"
>never touch it again
MAKE IT STOP, PLEASE
>Finally build that gaymen PC I've been meaning to do for 3 years
>So far just used it to play modded stalker at maxed settings and New Vegas again
Not even regretting it DESU
CGDCT is ok in moderation. It's definitely has gotten way out of hand though.
The golden compass are you serious?
Cute girls doing cute things has its own acronym now?
Cute and simple things are better enjoyed the older you are.
>tons of games to play
>can't enjoy any of them
>can't even bring myself to talk to friends outside of one word answers
when will this be over
I always get midway through a game and end up dropping it if it doesn't keep me gripped.
I'm really enjoying DDDA but the shitty traveling and midgame just makes me want to drop it. I was able to get through SS2 in like a day or two because the story and constantly being in the thick of things kept me really gripped.
It has for a while user. You just need to lurk more.
>almost 200 due bundle shit and dev sales
>recently cleared few bigger games and tossed a dozen to trash after a while
just start one of them, if its horrible you can just put it away and if it ends up being fun then enjoy
You should start masturbating more. It will make things even harder.
What does yours look like?
