"Competitive" players can't handle a bit of luck. That's why DK Jungle is banned, despite being a good stage otherwise. Apparently the barrel is too luck-based, because edge guarding doesn't exist.

A small handful of players have played some street fighter/marvel, although not too seriously, but most of them just say they enjoy melee's gameplay more. Most common reasons seem to be more interesting movement and being able to do something while being hit/comboed (DI).

Leffen has said his goal is to be the best fighting game player, not just the best melee player, and he has had periods where he took marvel/sf somewhat seriously. He had 1 (one) point in the capcom pro tour in 2015.

He also lost to two literally who's last weekend at momocon

Like he's played Marth vs Dizzkid and Wobbles before and destroyed them, and he actually probably could have beaten Chu if he hadn't wasted two games with Peach

Switch out Ice with DruggedFox and the tier Mang0 is in doesn't describe him at all. Plup is in a tier of his own and m2k literally can't win a tournament with Armada in it

Idk leffen and Mang0 have their days, not even days where hbox or armada are playing particularly badly but their fox just pops the fuck off as fox is want to do sometimes. Mang0 can easily be moved up a slot if he has another good tournament and i dont think Leffen has been taking singles too seriously as of late.
