Honestly, since it's the 30 year anniversary of the series, I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a remake of MGS3 using the Fox Engine or something similar, besides Survive.

This is true. The only thing we know is that it's an open world game, but having experienced MGSV, that means nothing.

Kojima was never Vice President of Konami, he was Vice President of Game Development. That means he helped oversee matter of the game development side of the company, and I imagine it was much more a symbolic position then anything since he still directed his own titles.

Plus, the CEO of Konami died right in the middle of TPP's production, and he was a known Kojima supporter in the company, his son took over and he is known for not feeling console gaming as a very profitable avenue for the company, this was obviously a move to cut costs.
