I used to think it couldn't get much worse than Sup Forums, but then I spent some time on modern Gamefaqs and holy shit is that place a fucking nightmare. I couldn't tolerate it for more than a couple weeks. Picture like an even stupider, whinier, and manchild filled version of Sup Forums where instead of maybe 50% of the people having any idea what they are talking about virtually nobody does. It's actually astonishing how bad that community got as I don't really remember it being anywhere near that bad in the mid 2000's last time I tried my hand at it.
It's just so fucking hard to find a decent video game community on the internet anymore and likely impossible. Too many shrieking idiots and memesters running off from Social Media and talking out of their ass, trolling and shitposting 24/7.
