I learned that Springman was the bestest boy. He's got the tools and his deflect is fucking insane when you time it right.

Made a Twintelle even quit because of that and guarding her super. Actually the greatest time I've had in a fighting game.

I learned that Twintelle grab spammers are a fucking thing, and that dashing on the ground lets you dodge grabs while dashing in the air doesn't.

Hint: The Twintelle immediately dodged any punches and grabs I made and grabbed faster than me, every time.

Champ and his stage are 100% unlockable. I'll be getting them as the very first thing I do in the game

Thing is, we've seen review xopies with the ovious ways of unlocking him done, but he's not unlocked.

That said, I wouldn't be suprised if ninty adds him in a day one patch just to prevent leaks.

I love these first few weeks of people learning the game and the player base at its peak. Feels like exploring the wild west. And then people grow tired, the playerbase shrinks, everything gets tryhard optimized, a meta settles and tier lists are established.

Getting the rights to Jump series in America is a legal nightmare. It's why we don't get any of the anime armor sets in Monster Hunter.

I found myself mixing and matching all three of her weapons constantly over all the testpunches, so I can't single out a favorite. Double whammers were surprisingly effective. Homie is great because of its charge effect. Revolver was a good all-around weapon and I needed it for skillshot and Headlok.

I feel like Ninjara is 2fast though. surely there's a more effective arm for him.

I can see it selling 1M by the end of this year, but not really 3M by 2018, it is a new IP after all.

Pretty sure Shonen Jump and Oda would have way more to gain by asking Nintendo than the other way around. The big N and videogames in general is bigger than Anime, no matter how popular it is in Japan.

Pokken looked boring and literally no one but hardcore pkmn fans defended it.

Pokken was fun, and I still bust it out every once in a while when I need something to play with friends.

I dunno, One piece is set to become the best selling manga for 10 years in a row so they don't really need the publicity.

To be fair though, Ishikawa and Yabuki have been at Nintendo for only 10 years, and have basically only done potboiler projects for Mario and Zeldas, and Yabuki only got to be Director for Mario Kart 7 and 8.

This is the first time either of them get to do anything that isn't already heavily supervised by Koizumi or Aonuma.

It's also a new IP and is treated as part of the flagship lineup alongside Zelda, Splatoon and Mario for Switch Year 1.

Ass aside, I imagine they would be pretty fucking thrilled about the positive response ARMS is getting.

The popularity of Jump in general is still dropping over the years, and OP isn't selling as well as it used to. It may get a bump with the current arc, but it's 20 years and running, it's not going to get more popular. OP IS Jump, so if Jump wants their mojo back (like why they're running 6 new series right now to spike interest) then they'll aggressively seek attention.

Nintendo doesn't need anime to promote their games in the slightest. The Squidgirl thing only happened because the mangaka begged Nintendo, not the other way around.

i remember that MK8 release date was late may and both DLC Pack 1 and 2 were announced in late august, i think? it was pretty substantial content tho and there was no mention of dlc coming in the future until the announcement in august i believe
