Well, there's Dying Light which came out two years ago.
You can also play Hover: Revolt of Gamers which just came out a few days ago on PC.

I avoided it for years because everyone said it sucks, then I beat it recently and got a typical inFamous game with ten hours shaved off the playtime.

Less interesting story, your choices dont affect any cutscenes besides the ending, side quests are all the same, protagonist is alot less interesting than cole, zeke cameo is one line of dialogue, endings werent nearly as emotional as 2's

This was one of the few games PlayStation gave away during the month outage and it was horrible. It was surprising to hear they made a sequel, and even more to see people liking it.

Titanfall 2 wasn't that unique it was still fun and nicely polished game though and should have sold more than 2 copies

Because everyone Is now into interactive qtes, heavy story base games, non arcadey combat, super realistic textures and models, rpg elements and lifeless open world's with co op elements.
