Naoto Ohshima only created a pixel "skeleton" of the Sonic hedgehog character. He didn't know how to finish it, until his friend, Keiji Inafune paid him a visit. It was Inafune who brought this sprite art to life and finalized the design to be what we all know and love. But because of his obligations to Capcom, Inafune was not allowed to officially take credit for his work, even though he's at least the co-creator and "father" of Sonic.

No, F (Not-Roll) won. D (Inafune's Design) still made it into the game as the fucking final boss.

Inafune talked shit about Japanese gaming being dead, but all of Comcept's games are very "Japanese" (like Soul Sacrifice) and some are outright copies of Japanese games (MN9 and Red Ash). He talked shit but he couldn't deliver.

The funny thing about Naoto Oshima and Yuji Naka, is that Oshima still has a rather good relationship with Sega, despite being a part of Arzest now.

Yuji Naka is just stuck making them shitty Digimon games.

tbf he was the brain behind Lost Planet and Dead Rising, but I don't recall how important he was to MH and RE.

He was the only one at capcom that believed in Dead Rising, to the point that he went behind his superior's backs to go overbudget on the games' demos to force the rest of Capcom to not cancel it.

I think he got a giant swelled head from the success of those two games, he started to think he was the only smart person in Capcom.

If you wanted to make a GOOD Mighty No. 9, then go back in time and force Inafune to make the game before trying to make it a franchise. Make it 2D, keep the original plans for the game, and release that.
