What do you want to see for the upcoming Legacy of Kain?

A remake of Blood Omen alas Souls games?
a complete remake of Soul Reaver with all the deleted bosses? A reboot of the whole saga?

Blood Omen remake with Alastair Duncan as Mortanius is the only thing I trust anyone to make, probably.

What upcoming game? Do you really believe some twitter artist who does fan art as a serious source?

I expect to be disappointed

>"some twitter artist who does fan art"

>Senior Concept Artist & Illustrator
>"got permission to show some concept work from last year!"

>A remake of Blood Omen
fuck yeah. the superior games in every way

Meaningless title without a link to workplace.

The original BO has been missed by so many fans of the series due to the copyright and distribution hell that it resides in, much like what happened to many of Silicon Knight's productions.

It would be interesting to see it redone in some way shape or form, but I'd rather have a sequel after Defiance.

Michael Bell isn't getting any younger.

Nothing. At all. No in these times.

I want to see it cancelled if it's true. The old team is gone and the soul of the series is gone with it (no pun intended). The series doesn't need to be ruined like every other one today.

Also I don't want to believe the potential fact that this hipster with a faggot haircut who doesn't get it does official artwork drawing a limp wristed Kain and a hideously neon tinged Raziel

Concept art for roleplaying game pitch.

I just want it to not be the fucking abomination that Nosgoth was and for it to not be as bad as Blood Omen 2

What a fucking gullible sheep. He does his own """concept""" art of games that didn't even exist.
>i-i-i-t's a p-pitch of a game!
Yeah who's pitching it? Yeah, nobody except this numale cuck. Please hang yourself, Paul.

Right off the bat the art is generic and misses any sense of style the original had. That being said, I think any sort of LoK game would greatly benefit from improved combat, I wouldn't mind some Souls inspiration.

>Quit Legion before the Kara revamp
>recently replayed WC3
>didn't know he returned for Medivh's RP segment
>all my feels

With John Cygan recently leaving us, I'm dreading the day Bell either officially retires or dies.

The kara patch was pretty good, expanded on the stuff they had cooked-up at launch. Since then it's painfully clear they had to cut shit in usual blizz fashion.

Pretty neat they managed to get him back though, I think Cam Clarke voiced him in the Hearthstone meme expansion.

If he got "permission" to show it and nothing was announced, it means it was canned last year.

>phone posting scum

i want them to renew all the games but leave the plot, the voice acting and everything that made the series good untouched.

I just want the games remastered in a collection, not any new ones.

That would be best. A Kain game without Tony Jay would be almost unthinkable.

Wait, no hold the phone, Necromunda. NECROMUNDA.

>A remake of Blood Omen alas Souls games?
Sounds awful and a little pointless.

Legacy of Kain is better off left alone. The gameplay and story both kind of fell apart after the original Soul Reaver anyway. I'm not saying a revival couldn't be good, but I doubt it would have much in common with where the series started or even the direction it took on. Remakes are a bad idea, and Defiance was more conclusive than people give it credit for.

>John Cygan
I was sad to hear that. Always loved him as Solidus.

I'd love to see a remake of the original Blood Omen, which seems to be what those artworks are pointing at (minus Raziel's artwork).

Kain looks too young and pretty, though, and Simon Templeman's voice wouldn't sound good on him... but it's totally necessary for them to maintain/bring over from BO the original voice acting intact, if they want this to sell even a little bit.

That man was clearly hired by some company to make those pics, man. It's not simple fanart he decided to draw on a whim. The fact that he was allowed to post them just a few days before E3 bodes well, too.

>roleplaying game

So it would be an RPG with isometric view?

What was BO considered to be, by the way? An RPG or a mixed genre?

Blood Omen is officially classified as action-adventure

Let the franchise lie gracefully in it's grave. It's hard enough to convince myself that Nosgoth doesn't exist.

I see, good. Maybe they want to follow the current trend, following PoE's example, while giving the diehard fans a game much similar to the original first one?

People new to the series would get interested too, also because Kain looks like a young, fair Geralt-ish antihero in that pic. If this game really exists, I hope they kept his sharp, cold, "ugly" face
