I think I would be beyond pissed off if absouletely NOTHING is shown about these games at E3. The last time we got a trailer from either of these games was 2015. That is utterly insane

There's evidence to suggest both could show up. The Play Arts figures for Remake Cloud and Barret both launch this month in the West, the Figuarts KH2 Sora goes up for preorder next month, and Steve Burton did some VA work for Cloud in April, which doesn't seem like it was for Dissidia NT considering the the English reveal trailer had Japanese audio.

Nah fuck that. As much as I would be pissed off I will HAVE to buy KH 3. I feel obligated at this point. I invested 15 years into this series. I have to see how the Xehanort saga ends. I may drop it after KH 3 but I'm buying KH 3 day one and taking off work a few days to play it endlessly

Well Square did say we will see KH 3, FF 7 Remake and that Marvel game all within the next 3 years. And they stated they want to release one blockbuster game a year (FF XV was the blockbuster game last year and Dragon Quest XI is the blockbuster game this year). So judging by the evidence, KH 3 for 2018, FF 7 Remake 2019 and Marvel game 2020
Even that is unrealistically optimistic at this point.
And EVEN THEN, that would mean shit, again, at this point.
If they aren't completely related there will be at least a gameplay trailer for both. Cinematic trailer is a given.
