It did have a few bloody scenes that creeped me out as a kid.
Should have been M and shouldn't have had Chrono in the title. Just calling it "Radical Dreamers" and finding out that it's a stealth CT sequel would be superb.

Crono's team DID save the world though. Wazuki wandering into the Sea of Eden at the only time it was open fucked everything completely independent of anyone else. The CT team had no hand at all in the clusterfuck that caused CC.

People hate CC because it adds like fifty convoluted layers to the plot of a fairly straightforward JRPG while going out of its way to disrespect the original. See for the biggest examples.
