online ranked is fun even if you're not good, there's still the capability to make some sort of comeback each round if you at least try and play defensively and focus on a few attacks that are good punishers

then all you have to do to improve is see what sort of attacks are hurting you most and go into practice and learn how to deal with them, while learning some more offensive moves yourself

Anyone know any good tips to get gudder? I dont enjoy losing. Haven't played tekken since I was a babby so have no idea how to play. I'm mainly street fighter/ Mortal kombat babby but that doesn't translate well to tekken

the best advice I can give is that you should learn to block in the middle of a combo that's hitting you.

basically hold back and sometimes you will be able to block a string. then get ready to attack.

Can't fucking get matches on ps4, even with rank set to All, the wait is extremely long and there is still some errors conecting.

How come a old game like TTT2 had an more active online..., not to talk about how lackluster the offline modes are, no time batle, no survival, etc.

I just get dropped back to the main menu at random during pretty smooth matches, tells me the connection is lost. Also like 80% of quick matches I accept in player match mode don't connect me.

I've only ever had problems in tournaments where it freezes the game in the previous round of a different match.

Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, KoF and MK/Injustice have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.
