A Way Out

Why do babbies get triggered by couch co-op?

guy on right sounded like denis leary,
were the VAs confirmed yet?

Looks like typical criminal game where they're somehow supposed to be the sympathetic good guys with "deep drama"

they mostly got buttpained at the cinematic experience and their lack of friends

The nose knows.

it looks fun

people got triggered by all-white prison, not couch co-op

It certainly could be fun, but I sure as hell don't trust EA trailers

SWEDEN YES

but there was black people in there you twat

Sup Forums users tend to lack in the friends area

People can't handle Kane and Lynch

Look at the trailer again. Most prisoners are black

I think that Brothers: A Tale of Two Delinquents looks pretty neat so far. Not sure why everyone is getting triggered by "couch" coop though, when they mentioned that it's playable online too. I actually think that the constant splitscreen is a cool idea to experience the story from two different viewpoints. More games need to try unique stuff like that.

I'm more triggered by the self insert dev.

What if you don't have a friend, or don't have internet?

then you play something else because your a lonely poor faggot ya dingus

Will there be a single player mode?

Nope, has to be co op

No, you need to have a friend for it. It's a risky design choice forcing coop in a story driven game, but I think it can make for a pretty unique experience if done right.

...

there isn't much unique about following the objectives listed in the upper left while pressing the context button to pay respects here and there

>babbies triggered by couch co-op
Since when? Who are you referring to? Literally who could possibly be upset about having couch co-op?

>EA
More like I want a way out of this game.

It's the director's brother

No but there's online co-op

That explains it then. That nose though

>Literally who could possibly be upset about having couch co-op?

The underage Sup Forums posters

I knew i know that face

>tfw can't pirate the game
It wasn't Denuvo that had the best DRM, it was friendship.

We need more couch co op games, how can anyone be against that?

>Fares Fares
>being that arab
it's a nice gesture though.
I wish i could do something like that for my brother to make up for being such a shithead to him.

>having friends

Fucking normies

I was triggered because it seems like it would be an always online type of game.
That's annoying but for local coop I'm only concerned about the performance. Will my pc be able to handle it (of its coming out on pc)? I just don't like buggy broken messes which tends to be a lot of game releases over the years now. This game has to render so much unless both players will always be near each other?

What if someone just disconnects the game midway? Would the entire game just auto-quit? I feel this has some potential for griefing.

Sup Forums doesn't like it?

I think it looks great. There's never been a good game about breaking put of jail for one, and secondly, I think the co-op aspect will really sell that idea of needing team work to break out. It's a pretty cool approach in my own personal opinion.

The only thing that worries me is that everything after the prison setting looked a little generic and hum drum. Almost wish the entire game was the prison break.

??? What does what he said have to do with Sup Forums?

>co-op meme
What did EA mean by this? Seriously, who actually is the target audience?

He's not an arab

streamers.

He looks like retarded nathan drake in the promo shot behind him

It probably auto saves a lot or something. Nobody knows for sure though since that presentation is all we got so far. Even if griefing is possible, it can't be a worse experience than Prison Break after season 1.

Lol if it has denuvo, I won't even bother with the game.
Looks like a nice game to play with my brother since we barely play with each other. Still, most EA games aren't really piratable on pc as far as I know. That's the perk of having your own platform.

I'd be excited for this if my brother still lived with me and neither of us had jobs.

Middle Eastern Nathan Drake

...

I hate you

People with friends.

Me and my brother

because the generation z doesn't know what the fuck couch-co-op is and so they get nervous and scared.

so time to fix that

couch co op was always and has always been shit. only underage faggots who never experienced it have "nostalgia" over it

>got triggered by all-white prison
imagine a Sup Forums without Sup Forums
/news/bros at least would watch the trailer first

I'm 32, and couch split screen is always fun. It's a bonding experience 100% of the time, even in bullshit luck based games like Mario Party

Sorry you have no friends.

I wish the online co-op wasn't split screen.

Persian or Arab - same thing.

i hope you can betray your partner
Like you kill the guy and end with his wife
I would love to see the face of my friends

this thread is advertisement and fake controversy
there is no buzz, positive or negative, over this walking simulator

...

This game is racist! There should be a black Mc like in gta.

>Why do babbies get triggered by couch co-op?

because most of Sup Forums doesnt have friends.

Anyone else feel like the trailer spoiled everything?

>Doubting Josef Fares after Brothers a tale of two sons

what did it spoil?

>in prison
>????
>escape
>????
>run from cops
>????

doesnt seem like anything significant was shown

>Breaking out of jail
>on the run
>Shooting
>"walking simulator"

That's become so overused. Is every game you personally don't like a walking simulation or something?

>I never got GTA. I mean, its basically a walking simulator
>Call Of Duty? Now why would I play a walking simulator like that?
>The Witcher? Booorrriinng, too much walking

>make game that requires two people to play
>that means the game has to sell two copies to be playable
what the fuck were they thinking?

A Way Out sort of feels like EA trying to hold on to their last shred of humanity

That rules Sup Forums out.

I hope you're memeing, or literally retardrd

>what did it spoil?

Their journey

its local coop, you just need one copy. Its even online but the creator encourages you to do local coop

what exactly do you know from the trailer?

they go from prison to the wilderness, you think thats it?

What if one player dies in a shootout or gets shived in a shower? Does the game continue for the other player?
And the other half of your screen will show you how he lies in morgue, gets autopsy, prepared for burial and then an actual burial. All while you're sneaking in the sewers for days.

...

Will it be a short game like Brothers?

t.reddit

They go to a hospital so Vincent can see his daughter. The other asshole meets his son or brother.

Even better, you can escape just in time to visit your buddy's funeral in disguise

Its dependent on co-op, so I guess if one guy dies, both fail.

>Game over: Cell mate has died

Something like that. But I wish it would go dark. I've never really thought it over, but a game based on a jail break is such a neat setting for a video game, because there is so much unique gameplay potential.

Imagine the level where you have to do your best not to get gang raped. Or maybe you have to win favor with a prison gang to get some tools, so you have to pick a gang (with lasting story ramifications). Then there's shit like shankings, and the possibility of you performing one to win further favors... Etc

I know this game will NEVER go that far, which is a shame, and I don't think it's edgy to wish for a game that would explore the darker side of prison. It would make you empathise easier too, you'd totally get why the protagonist wants to break out of this shit hole at all costs.

I really hope they do something with that and don't give us a cheap game over screen. Cutting away the splitscreen and letting the survivor continue sounds way more promising and gives this whole experience of viewing everything from 2 sides way more impact.

I don't think that they will go that far though.

t. butthurt faggot

this game couldn't possibly be any gayer

Nigga, I'm 26 and couch multiplayer with friends is the comfiest shit. Be it Mario Kart, Mario Party, CoD, Timesplitters or generally any other kind of split-screen game, we've always had tons of fun.

Is there people really against couch co-op?

Seems like the only games to do it anymore are Nintendo, me and my friends play Mario Kart all of the time

But thats it, theres literally nothing else for us. Itll be nice to actually have something to play with my buds and not have to have separate consoles for it

You could be in it.

>now you can couch co-op walking simulators that are entirely focused on story and cutscenes

It's like Army of Two but dated.

sounds like the game needs 2 players to progress so I am not sure what you gain by letting 1 player mess around by himself while the other watches

A: No second controller.
B: Their internet is shit.
C: Their ally is shit.

I'm not gay. It's 2017 so there's nothing wrong with being gay and having emotional bonding experiences with dudes but not everyone is gay.

Will this game be available on the Switch?

It's EA. They'll never do something original.
Back when Fight Night: Champion came out, I thought they'd do something interesting with prison setting. But they give you a couple of fights without gloves and then "several years later" you're swole and have an afro.
I thought they could add like a small scene where you're getting attacked with a shank and you have to avoid it using your whole body movement and fight back, maybe with a bit of slo-mo to show your heightened boxing reflexes. Imagine a scene like that with boxing controls. And then, depending on whether you got stabbed or not, you'd spend time in the infirmary or dead if the shank hit your head.
I'm just throwing ideas here, but just think about it. How much more it would add to the story.

>wants to be taken serious
>looks like that
bravo marvel

this movie isn't for white people

>5 head
>turbo-kike nose
>high n tight-esque hairdo
>mutton chops
What the fuck where they trying to do with this face?

What movie is it from?

>t. pleb who never played Nightfire with his brother

Well, dying could trigger a flag that starts another branch of the story. Sure, it would suck for the other player to have to sit it out, but that new development and the feeling of losing something important could be things for the players to bond over or something. It's supposed to be an experience for two people to really be invested in, so that's a way how it could work too. The dev specifically recommended couch-coop over online possible for stuff like this, so there's that. But again, that probably sounds way too ambitious anyway so it's probably not going to happen.

Looks like a neat concept, and it's great to be able to play multiplayer only having to buy one copy. I'm fine with the concept of local co-op, but I don't like forced splitscreen since I find it hard to see.

I really like Overcooked for this reason. Nice couch co-op game up to four players and no splitscreen.

Or they could just leave half of your screen blank, so you would constantly feel like something's missing, like something's not right. And you would go back to a save where your body was alive.
