Doubt it

Nah. We'll see Noctis, Lightning, Cloud and a bunch of other FF characters nobody wanted cameos for.

>Cloud

He's been in KH since the beginning, why are you lumping him in with the shit squad?

>We'll see Noctis
i wouldn't count on it

Oh I love Cloud, I'm just posting the shoe ins.
How do you figure?

I doubt they'll ever do it, but I want a boss fight with FF characters as your partners. I want Cloud in my party, with a Limit and everything.

They could do that if there's a Final Fantasy boss/superboss in Radiant Garden.

>Master Xehanort corrupts one of the Guardian Dragon Summons
>Bahamut SIN is created
>Leon and Cloud join Sora to fight it while a hard rock version of "Force Your Way" plays

Oh shit, Bahamut boss fight would be hype, especially as a midgame setpiece.

>How do you figure?
I imagine Nomura is pretty salty about getting kicked off of XV after putting so much time into it. Vivi is the only FF character he's ever put in a KH game that he didn't create, and I imagine he probably doesn't consider Noctis his character anymore.

I agree with everything you say

probably not

the fuck is this

Friendly reminder to ignore XV-kun posts. Do not reply to or in any way acknowledge his existence. Please do not point out the irony of my reply stating this also.

JUST IGNORE HIM! DO NOT GIVE HIM ATTENTION!
He's already ruined two threads so far today, do not let him ruin this one as well.

I hope we get an FF boss other than Sephiroth. I think Kefka would be fun, or maybe Gilgamesh. Or Magus if they want to go really out there.

I don't think so. It would be pretty awesome if a Shibuya world was included though. Maybe they cameo in Traverse Town again?

Who are these people? I stopped playing after 2.

As much as Traverse Town is the ultimate comfy KH world, I hope it doesn't show up again. I want to see new worlds, not more retreads.

Do you think lord Nomura will bless us with a trailer or will we get some based screenshots instead? Either way anything is good since he can do no wrong.

...

Then you're not going to like the first world of KH3 then... Mount Olympus.

I really hope so. There was apparently going to be a trailer awhile back but it got canned.

One of Square's best RPGs.

I'm not expecting much, honestly.

>voice actors
One who knows nothing, can understand nothing.

Oh I hope we just see olympus and twighlight town again.

>Then you're not going to like the first world of KH3 then... Mount Olympus.
I'm disappointed, but at least it's Mount Olympus, which hasn't been in previous games. It's strange that they keep adding locations to Olympus (Underworld, Thebes, Mount Olympus) but keep the three maps from the original game exactly the same.

Jesus Christ, stop responding to him.

And Setzer

Any hopes for the concert that's about to start? Even Hashimoto is there

From the wiki:
>After it was decided Final Fantasy VI would feature an ensemble cast with no clear main protagonist, everyone in the development team was encouraged to provide ideas for characters and their episodes. Setzer's character and story were colored by influence from Tetsuya Nomura.

Indeed. From that early trailer we saw Rock Titan so I'm hoping part of Mount Olympus is taking down the 4 titans. Plus I'm happy they're getting the repeat world out of the way with early, and Olympus is a great place to have the 'tutorial' part of the game.

No word on Twilight Town but wouldn't surprise me if it made an appearance. So far we have confirmed:
Mount Olympus
Tangle world
Big Hero 6 world

Most likely to show up:
Traverse Town
Radiant Garden
Twilight Town

If I'm not mistaken I believe an interview somewhere mentioned that Halloween Town was ruled out.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Agrabah, Wonderland, Beast's Castle, Castle of Dreams, Dwarf Woodland, and Enchanted Dominion return.

Huh, I wasn't aware of that. I guess that would explain him as the one random FFVI side character in KH

>I imagine Nomura is pretty salty about getting kicked off of XV
Why do people keep spreading this meme?

>The transition to Tabata as director was therefore not just sudden and out of the blue, and he feels there is no disadvantage in the change, development-wise. When the platform transition occurred, fundamentals for the characters and world were already in place. There was plenty of consulting with Nomura, the development team, and management to put Final Fantasy XV on track to be best it can be.

>But that’s not to say the game has lost its core. Tabata sat down with original director Tetsuya Nomura about the direction the title is going to take.

>“I wanted to make sure that characters, like Noctis, that are so important to Nomura, are maintained in the best possible way.”

gematsu.com/2014/09/final-fantasy-xv-director-talks-development-open-world-combat-demo#6ge2tLEcSzDOZe0s.99

There is nothing to indicate Nomura is salty.

>inb4 Nomura talking about putting his burning anger into his games is somehow about him being salty, when it was just him saying he's doing for KH3 like he did on KH1.

The only good thing about Olympus showing up is that they can finally resolve the "You don't have what it takes to be a TRUE hero" arc from KH1.

I hope Agrabah doesn't make an appearance. I'm so sick of Agrabah.

Yeah I really want Zeus or the other Gods to declare us true heroes just so we can rub it in Phil's face once and for all. Plus we'll get to see sexy Meg again and that's always a plus.

thanks for believing in me user

Yep. The way the FFVI cast was created is really interesting. It feels like a D&D game where everyone came to the table with their own characters planned out and the scenario writers found a way to weave their stories together.

>facing the Titans

Imagine fighting Fire Titan and Wind Titan, how does someone fight a volcano and a tornado?

>Big Hero Six
>Tangled

Frozen is also extremely likely. I'm really hoping for a Princess and the Frog world, Facilier would be an excellent villain working with the Heartless as his Friends On The Other Side. And after TRON got into II and DDD I really really hope that The Black Hole gets into III.

Nomura said it would be hard to implement Noctis at this point, which basicly means he didn't plan on it anyway.

He said that about all of the characters in the poll.

>Imagine fighting Fire Titan and Wind Titan, how does someone fight a volcano and a tornado?
Eh, I'm sure they could find a way.

Which doesn't change the argument

>Auron is the only FF character that's ever actually been in your party

Why aren't they using their assets properly

As long as it's not Sephiroth I'm happy. There are plenty of good choices.
>Kefka
>Gilgamesh
>Bahamut or any other summon
If Destiny Islands are explorable again it would be funny if Jecht shows up as a battle.

...

I was surprised by auron being the one in specific.

Was he super popular in japan at the time?

It's strange isn't it? Hopefully they go all out with them this time. Would be cool having Leon, Yuffie or Cloud fighting alongside you in Radiant Garden.

There wasn't a Disney character they could use for The Underworld.

Each KH game has become more and more invested in its own characters and mythos, rather than the original conceit of the series which was FF meets Disney. It bums me out that both FF and Disney get progressively less relevant with each game. Was there a single Disney character in 0.2 other than Mickey?

Zack was in the party for like one fight

I think he's just very popular overall

That barely counts, the "party" members in BBS were closer to the one-off guest characters from KH1 and 2 in execution.

>Was there a single Disney character in 0.2 other than Mickey?
Story wise it wouldn't have made much sense since it was about Aqua's time in the Realm of Darkness.

>The Jungle Book was suppsoed to be in Birth By Sleep
>several sections had been made before they cut it

Wonder if they'll use it in III, and if it will be the animated classic or the recent live-action one.

>Only time you get to fight alongside all of the FF team is during the Heartless invasion.
Damn shame.

Maybe they recognizes him as the only worthwhile character from FFX other than Jecht. Would explain why Tidus and Wakka are absent from KH2.

I don't follow that logic, since the Disney worlds being swallowed up into the Dark realm was the main thrust of the KH1 story, and you even see Cinderella's castle in 0.2. I recognize it was probably more budget-driven than anything, but still.

>all these deleted posts
It's only a matter of time.

They cut it for copyright reasons, I think. So if the live-action movie is indicative that they've re-negotiated the rights, it's possible. Shere Khan boss would be hype as fuck.

I loved that whole part so I'm hoping we get round two.

Gilgamesh expecially would make a great superboss in the same family as Kurt Zisa. Over the top, not particualrly relevant or explained, but strong as fuck and requiring unique tactics.

KH has always been great for its superbosses but lately they're all story-related characters or cameos. It's never not been fun to have a "this guy's actually the boss of the next game" fight that pushes you to the limit, but I want another Zisa or Phantom that's just a hard as fuck secret boss that goes poof at the end.

If they slapped Cecil in your party for a level they could easily slap together another dumb Light v Dark plot in for him to struggle with

Also Zidane and Vaan would probably have good synergy with Sora

Balthier or Kain even?

Wasn't it because of the actor who voiced King Louie in the original movie's wife was upset over Disney using Louie with a different actor after his death and not paying her royalties? I think that was why Louie wasn't in the sequel and they couldn't even refer to him for a while.

Indeed. The closest we got was Julius in DDD. Just have Gilgamesh come falling out of some rift in the sky and mention that the legendary Keyblade is one of the weapons he has sought after for a long time. Boom, there's one of your superboss fights.

>It's never not been fun to have a "this guy's actually the boss of the next game" fight that pushes you to the limit
This is why Unknown in KH1FM is my favorite optional boss in the series. The atmosphere for that fight is intense as fuck and introduced the best boss theme in the series.
youtube.com/watch?v=UeXsYfmlZtU&t=157s

Zidane and/or Vaan replacing Flynn as the gentleman thief in Tangled world, yay or nay?

You can really tell how influenced KH is by FF by comapring characters. Almost any FF protagonist or (good) side character can be inserted into KH without seeming out of place since they all tend to strugle with similar themes.

Light vs Dark
Justice vs Empathy
Dark pasts and redemption

The list goes on

They could have Vaan as a party member in the Star Wars level

>best boss theme in the series.
L'Impeto Oscuro, Darkness of the Unknown, Dismiss, Vector to the Heavens and Rage Awakened would like to have a word with you.

>Beating him gets you an Enkidu keyblade

Unknown was lightning in a bottle. Lingering Sentiment is a better fight, but nothing will ever top Unknown's sheer level of "what-the-fuck."

I think we need more bosses like Kurt Zisa, less like Phantom. Phantom is just frustrating and slow, and has about two HP bars too many for what it is.

>the best boss theme in the series.
I dunno about that, user
youtube.com/watch?v=YtAFN2LFBpQ

>yfw Kylo Ren is that one mid game difficulty spike boss

I'm pretty sure everyone agrees Phantom sucked. More superbosses like KH1 would be a welcome sight.

Hell I'd even love to see the goofier side of Gil.

>A rift opens up
>Gil falls through and looks a little lost
>Sees the keyblade and tries to barter for it
>Sora does his usual "yeah sure take it lol jk it doesn't like you"
>Gil demands a fight over it

And having him swap through his own collection could
a) Offer up an easy design frame for his stages
b) Be a cool potential way to subtly reference other FF games similar to FFXII's Gil

Rage Awakened and L'Impeto Oscuro are my favorites, but Disappeared is still excellent.

I'm firmly in the NO STAR WARS ALLOWED camp but honestly Vaan being there would actually work pretty well.

What if we got a superboss from FF in KH? I would love classic Omega Weapon as a boss. Or maybe go a step farther and bring something crazy like Ozma.

Meant to reply to since he specifically used Phantom as an example of fights we need more of.

I wouldn't even mind FFXV's version of Gilgamesh showing up. Surprisingly cool.

>Marvel world
>Galactus super-boss

Yay/Nay?

Lord of the Castle is the best boss theme in the series.

Scythe of Petals > Lord of the Castle

I don't think Ozma would work in an ARPG, since it's hard to have tells for an orb.

Lord of the Castle isn't even the best boss theme for that character.
youtube.com/watch?v=mNuS2ifFWHA

Darth Vader should be the secret final boss.

I remember back when the music was simple and clean instead of all this overblown shit with violins going nuts everywhere that we get in the newer installments

In practice Phantom was a terrible fight, but I'd like to see more fights that are thematically similar. It's not someone special, it's not a dark beast summoned by another big bad, it's just the Phantom. Both Phantom and Zisa happen because you find someone from their world that is freaking the fuck out over something nasty going on, and they lead you to some of the wildest enemies you've ever encountered.

If Phantom had existed after the gae of reaction commands I think it has potential to be another great superboss. It needed less health, or more ways for you to affect the timer. Reactions could have been used for you to reverse the timer, to slow it, or even to swap it around or something.

The Phantom we got is still the worst secret boss in the series probably.

It would be too difficult to design him as a KH boss because he's supposed to just hulk over and overpower you and he doesn't move very quickly

Make way, actual best boss theme coming through.

generic anime teenagers
and kaworu from evangelion

>"The Force is with you, young Keyblade Warrior. But you are not a Master yet."
>"All too easy. Perhaps you are not as strong as Master Xehanort believes."

>Flying through space in Gummi ship.
>Enemy approaching on radar.
>Pic related is flying after you.
How would you react?

No reaction, because I wouldn't remember a damn thing from FFIX.

When I was a kid, I always wanted a boss fight to take place on the Gummi Ship. Not a fight using the Gummi ship, but up on top of the ship as it's flying around, like the Sin fights in FFX.

Ark was pretty neat.
youtube.com/watch?v=p82ZY3wubL4

>Mary Sue Skywalker gives you an OP triangle ability when she's in your party

Well Nomura sort of had to churn out his own story and its own focus, given that back then Disney was supposedly very anal-retentive about any significant, sweeping changes to their properties. Time has loosened it up due to KH's success presumably, but now we're stuck with a heavy OC focus as a result.

I never understood the lore implications of any of the Gummi Ship levels

Like did Organization XIII just have a giant space navy?

...

They actually did. The final Gummi ship level from 2 was fighting through a Nobody armada.

>Braig and Isa are half-Xehanort
>Ienzo, Even, Aeleus, and Dilan back to normal and repentant of their actions
>Lea is a Keyblade Warrior

Do you think we'll see the other Organization members as their normal selves in III? Demyx at least is a shoe-in because of his popularity.

Radiant Garden feels like the perfect setting for a fight with Alexander.
