With all of the rumors about Smash Switch and it coming with new characters in tow, I figured it would be fun to bring back this old hobby of mine for at least one more night! How's it work?
To request a character post the character's: >Name >Franchise >Image of your character. (If I cannot find an HD picture of your character, I refuse to do your request. I don't deal with lo-res pictures.) >"Enters the battle" phrase. If you're not clever enough, I'll manage. >A song for me to listen to as I work, preferably something from the franchise in question

They're only going to add 1 or 2 characters. Pokken DX is only adding one fighter, MK8DX added 5 who reused skeletal animations of other characters already, and ones a literal reskin of Metal Mario.

Thanks. The backgrounds are honestly the one of the easier parts at this point. I've devised a workflow to make lots of varied backgrounds really easily. Anime speed lines, for instance are just a combination of the Fiber filter and a motion blur! As for the colors, I just eye-dropper some of the colors of the character to make sure the work is cohesive. Here, it was Gatomon's claws.
