Nope, you can use it on the regular PS4. the pro makes games run way better (or in theory, it should), but the only game I've personally seen run better on the pro is farpoint. Every other game runs identically, and looks the same. RE7 included. Eagle flight, 100ftrobotgolf, starblood arena. It all runs the same.
