The game's not cell-shaded or anything.

Skyrim mods will pretty much only change the characters tho and it's clearly they meant it like that: that the game looks like Skyrim's more realistic world just with DQ characters. Otherwise, their statement wouldn't made any sense, since if you mod Skyrim till it won't look the original game there is no point in saying that "it looks like Skyrim just modded".

I'd say wait for switch version for 'on the go play' but with square it could take 10 years
