Does anybody else here thinks Ignite spell is a shitty mechanic? I should be able to run away with low HP after doing something without a an almost garantee of death because that cheap fuck of the enemy mid used ignite right before dying and a potion wouldnt be enough healing for saving me... (I'm new to the game, so I'm asking to know if I am just mad because I suck, or it is really a shit mechanic)

Same, my cousin got me into it at the start of 2016. Game is fundamentally flawed though and has a steep learning curve. The fact they keep changing shit for no reason also makes it a bad game to come back to after a break. And the community is a shit. Play bots, play fun modes, play ARAM. Never play ranked or normal unless you are playing with friends. Gnar the best.

Yes, pretty much anything that is news in any way comes to the League subreddit (although I actually saw this on youtube first). I post on here, reddit, and on gaf, but v/ is the only place that has some sort of self esteem issues and some cultlike mentality if you post anywhere else.

I think to get a 6300 IP hero, you need to play around 60 - 90 matches... I heard the avarage is to get 1000 IP in 5 hours of gameplay + -

You win around 100IP per match (not including game of the win)
Matches are usually 25m, but can go as high as 1h

99.9% of people either do or should (since they would play better) main 2-3 champs per role. There is really only a few champions that you need for every situation, and you can pretty much afford every relevant champ very quickly if you have been playing any significant amount of time. Really only an issue if you are on a fresh smurf account, and most people just a handful of champs to ladder with on smurfs anyways.

depends, there are 3 difficulties for bots, the first two only grant 100% of their xp until level 10, the hardest bots grant full xp until level 20 and only 90% afterwards. same for ip

I used to play Dota 2. Played it for years. But at some point, a Dota 2 win became way too important, and I used to get real mad. The matches are slow paced, usually take from 40 minutes to 1:15, and that is a lot of time to just lose at the end (Dota 2 doesnt have any kind of surrender without a punishment). League is more of a "brawler" than a real moba, I guess. League is just more fun.
