I'm sure a lot of us do this too, a few of my friends in swtor did too.

Call them by their characters gender unless corrected. But assume they're male outside the game.

It doesn't really matter. It's just words. None of this really matters.

It's fantasy so I just pretend they are a girl but I know that in reality you can't truly know and in all likelihood they are probably a guy.
