I have 30 subs who don't actually give a shit about what I upload, I even got those subs in the first place because I uploaded my LVL4 NG+6 Bloodborne and SL1 NG DaS3 runs to youtube with all bosses.
Now that I upload Battlefield 1, not very many people want to watch it. I don't have commentary, flashy editing or even a capture card, I only use the in-console tool that PS4 has.
I've been writing a critique for Automat which I intend to make into a full video and hopefully break into the review/critique scene a little bit. I might just fork out some dough for a capture card and a microphone for shits & gigs, I just got a job after all.

Oh I know, I don't really care either way. I like uploading moments and then looking back on them later, most of my views on the BF vids are from me honestly.
I didn't upload soulsborne for the views or possible ad revenue either, I had already done runs like that in other games. PS4 just gave me the opportunity to save those moments so that I could look at them later

Wanted to do a playthrough of Total War Rome (the nonshitty first one), but replace the Roman faction with Hillarius Clintonius, the Huns with Donald the Trump, and Visigoths with Bernie of the Sanded Asses. I dropped it because character mods didn't work too well, the Huns never built any walls, and Bernie's people kept dying off after round 15.
Someone else take my mantle, but use Total War Attila instead. I think putting Donald as a Nord, Yeb! in the Eastern Empire, and Hillarius in the West Empire would better reflect the election cycle. And make Bernie an insignificant horde faction, like the Suebis.

It's great because I treat it like what it should be, something interesting to do to give to the gaming community, instead of a capital investment to make money off of the back of viewers through ads and e-begging.
I do no commentary playthroughs and it's enjoyable and it's good to see that people still enjoy watching older-style playthroughs. It's not the most popular thing anymore but that was never the point. It's nice to see people come out of the wood-work saying they miss the old style and it feels nice to make some people's day.
