What the fuck, bros. How did they do it?
I thought Nintendo killed them 20 years ago?!?
What the fuck, bros. How did they do it?
Their game production skills never dropped, they just don't have the resources to make more than like 4 at a time
Persona is developed by Atlas and 13 Sentinels is a Vanillaware game. Sonic Mania and Shenmue 3 aren't out yet. Yakuza 0 and Puyo Puyo are fun though. Not dead but you're giving them too much credit for publishing
They started to localize their games.
>own studios
>b-but those don't count
Sega is not making Shenmue 3, they just allowed Yu Suzuki to use the license
>Yakuza 0
Great game, I give them that one
>Puyopuyo
Never played, just looks like tetris
>Persona 5. Sonic Mania
Neither of those are really "made" by Sega
>Shenmue 3
Sega is not involved at all with this game.
Sega is publishing that new VanillaWare game?
You know what user, I think you're right. Publishers and parent companies introduce resources to these studios that they might not have an access to if they were independent. Thanks for making me realize that.
>no aliens
>no jsr
>no crazy taxi
>all this weebshit
Nope. Still dead. Don't give a fuck.
They own Atlus, who is doing it.
this. they still make good shit.
Liking Sega games for stupid jrpgs is downplaying their library.
The only good games in that image are Yakuza 0 and Puyo. Persona 5 is trash and Sonic Mania is shaping up to be a disappointment. SMT HD might be good but you never know. I'm pretty sure SEGA aren't involved in Shenmue 3.
>Still focusing on PS4
>Only Sonic Mania and Shenmue III have PC ports so far
>No revival of classic titles, like Crazy Taxi or Phantasy Star or Streets of Rage
>No puzzle collection consisting of Columns, Puyo Puyo, Catherine, and Chu Chu Rocket
Sega only stopped being #1 from around 2002-2007, they've been kings nonstop otherwise.
name me 5 times a dead series got revived and the game that came out of it was actually good.
you faggots think its so fucking easy just to make a new game from franchises that are dead as fuck. it doesnt help that all the people who worked on those franchises are all gone. i would rather they focus on new ips.
>Still focusing on PS4
I fail to see the problem.
>buying games on a console that will be irrelevant in a few years
>instead of buying on PC where you can play games from any generation
Captcha: Calle Port
NEVER EVER, neckbeard-kun.
i ironically own a Playstation 4, but not wanting games on PC is fucking stupid
>Giana Sisters
>Punch Out
>Kid Icarus
>Doom/Wolfenstein
>Rayman
No, vanillaware is. Atlus doesn't own vanillaware
I meant that Atlus is publishing it. Like they did with Dragon's Crown and Odin's Sphere.
Spot the SMT fanboy
SJ Golden, SMT HD? please
Metroid Prime
Mother 3
Sin & Punishment 2
Street Fighter 4
Contra 4
>buying a PC that will need upgrade to play current gen games in a few years
Mother 3 wasn't really dead, just in development hell.
You wanna know how I know you don't know shit about PC? You can play PS4 ports with parts that came out around mid 7th generation. Damn you're are stupid.
Mother 3 was cancelled then brought back on GBA after some convincing went on to not just say fuck the whole thing. The series was dead in the water and porting ideas meant for N64 to GBA shouldn't have worked.
Theres a ton of people that will not buy a console but want to play Persona games, I've been emulating them all but I'd buy then on Steam for the trading cards, background profiles, dota 2 announcers, morgana courier.
Just make them port the damn games to PC.
>How did they do it?
They got a new president recently who actually lets developers delay their games instead of forcing constant releases like a money-hungry assembly line.
Basically replaced old blood with younger, more in touch blood.
I hope Persona is never released on PC.
Not now nor in 50 years :^)
>Sin & Punishment 2
Gunstar Super Heroes and Bangai-o Spirits too
Does Megaman 9 count?
OMG, this so much
>mfw
What's the point of this image if it fails to show the fruits of SEGA buying Amplitude with Endless Space 2 or the release of long thought never ever games on PC.
The PS4 is the best console of its kind, so yeah, why shouldn't they?
they killed themselves actually, but they managed to get out of hell itself by sheer luck
>woah SEGA is doing good, look at all these Atlus games.
>Mother
>Sin and Punishment
>Contra
Because we've sure been getting those games on a regular basis
Wtf does that have to do with anything? Don't move the goalposts because you got btfo in one post.
No it was Sony that killed them with the PS2
That wasn't me fuckeroo
Let me lament in peace
