That's because of that Harmonizer effect from their COMPs reducing damage taken from demons and increasing the damage they do to demons. Probably makes Abel stronger than usual against Demifiend, but Hero/Aleph being pure-human with guns would fuck him up in a fight.

Apparently Nyx from P3 is the cause of every demon/super natural thing in the entire series, so the same could be said about anything from SMT.

In the story it's hard to tell. This is a random guess but I think Kagetshuchi is about as tough as Yaldaboath. And after you beat him he unleashes a big attack that knocks the party down. I think that would be comparable to Kagetsuchi's ultimate light attack.

It gets kinda weirder though how SMT4 and 4A keep treating it like your main character exclusively uses a sword. As if they never use physical demon skills, magic, or even guns.

Demifiend isn't even the strongest protaginist. He barely beat a Lucifer that was holding back to test him while Flynn and Nanashi outright killed Lucifer.

It's mostly just contrarianism. Not to say Persona is flawless, there's plenty of good reasons to dislike it, but it's mostly just people who dislike it because it's popular. It doesn't help that a lot of resources go towards Persona, so even people who are indifferent to Persona will be upset with it because it kind of feels like they're being robbed of an SMT with higher prodcution values.

the stronger dragons in FE are worshipped as gods in most of the games. you can argue if they really count or not. Not counting them, the only true god in FE was Ashera and possibly Fomortiis.

The other spinoffs don't pander to waifufags nearly as hard. SMTfags hate P3-5 because the actual dungeon crawling and demon fusion is largely secondary to the social sim elements. Doesn't help they pretty much lack the dark overtones the other games are known for either.

Yeah, but you have to remember that the Lucifer Demi fought and the Lucifer Nanashi/Flynn fight are two completely different beings, just how the Tokyo in these games are different places with different circumstances. Also, Nanashi had help from his friends, "Flynn", and an army of suicidal idiots to kill Lucifer.
