There used to be 200 bucks worth of DLC, they've removed it and are replacing it with a 45 dollar season pass, after that, there's a special DLC coming out for 5 bucks, then everything's free afterwards.

The game's still good, people got too angry over the microtrans, if you can't afford 5 or 7 bucks every so often get a new hobby.

Just tried the game. The entire premise is basically stick a drill in a safe for 3 minutes while an infinite horde of swat start swarming in.

Graphics and physics are ps2 tier and the game is simply not fun.

You've obviously not played on a difficulty harder than normal. There are 6 unique enemies and they have upgraded versions on deathwish or harder.
There are entire builds dedicated to offensive and defensive approaches.

Can you play this game online with high latency? Like if it were an MMO? I thought this game was like some kind of FPS or 3rd person shooter PvP game but apparently all you do is like heists with other players? Killing NPCs? So what was the outrage over skins again? Why would you care if someone has a skin with better stats than you if it's not a PvP game?

new wave mode is alot of fun but you have to know how to play the game really well to get any rewards out of it.

Oh wait, they removed all the DLC from Steam to resell it in their Ultimate Edition or whatever.

At this point there's no reason to cry about mods and unlockers since as you said it's a PvE game and everyone is stuck in the grind anyway.

The only type of hack that gets frowned upon all of the time is a hack that spawns infinite artifacts and completely prevents guards from detecting anyone, standing still. Boosting an honest players level from 1 to 100 in a 2 minute mission. That might annoy an honest player.

Sort of like modded lobbies in COD4 back then.

it's an ok game which has had a lot of bad shit happen to it. Fun characters and incredible music though.

Personally I don't see a problem with mods altering the game within reason.

For instance I have a mod that lets me carry multiple bags
4 lightweight bags (coke) or
3 medium weight bags (gold) or
2 heavy bags (bomb parts) before I can't move at all.

Literally nothing wrong with it and it doesn't really break the game. Since I play solo anyway it gives me a fighting chance on some missions especially when I have a map locked down and all I have to do is carry 20 odd bags from a to b.

I mean I don't use it myself but people cry about the meth helper mod that chats what ingredient to use, someone who knows their shit konws what ingredient to use even when bain fucks up the instructions plus he corrects himself anyway a second or so after. so the mod is literally saving what? 5 seconds per batch?

I've played this shit game to level 20-30 or something and I've unlocked absolutely jack diddly shit for gun porn. Fuck this game and I'd rather have Killing Floor 2 to satisfy the craving.

How so? I've made the game a bit more lenient towards solo play.

It's not like I can breeze through heists, all i've done is made things more interesting. The only one that is questionable is no pagers on stealth kills, but in practice that causes more concern for leaving bodies out and you can't have enough body bags to wipe the map anyway. So you can't just sit somewhere and pick everyone off with a sniper.

Like I said I only play solo so altering stuff to save me a bit of time like emptying the vault on a bank heist when I've neutralised all the guards (even without mods you can do this) and controlled the crowd there's literally nothing in the way of carrying the bags to the van, no chance for alarms, no chance for failure. carrying more bags literally just saves a few trips and time. Fucking hell even golden grin I still need to make at least 6 trips to get everything, as opposed to 20ish becuase i'm playing alone. So I don't really give a fuck, it makes it fairer for me.

I just redownloaded this, I always wanted to do the heists via stealth, but my current gaming group always goes loud and has no patience for it. I might try and solo go bank or something before I get bored.

Already done it all legit son. Mods save time. Sure I COULD go back and forth and get another keycard or wait for it to drop in the right place, I COULD run from A to B 20 fucking times without risk or I could do the same as a four man crew could and have all of them ready and do it just as fast.

Stealth is not fun. Stealth is a chore, and everyone's obsession with it sucks all the fun out of the game.
If I wanted to sneak I'd play Chaos Theory. As it happens to be, I want to do FUN things, such as going loud. Y'know, the thing with actual action going on? Most people tend to forget it exists.

It was worth it the moment i used a cheat to unlock all weapons, make myself a sanic dual pistol setup, enable infinite sprint, and just scream around the map killing dudes like i was in some action movie. This was more than a year ago though, if i can't do that anymore the game is shit. Fucking hell legitimately grinding that game seemed like cancer.

The excuse for pagers actually going off is that they activate when they hit the ground.

Killing guards still leaves a body to dispose of and you have a max of
2 starting bags
5 with a drop
8 with double bag perk
12 with both perks and a drop

That's still not even enough to take care of shadow raid on normal. It doesn't make the game free especially when you do what I did which is reduce pager count to 2 and increase the time to answer a pager.

It breaks the game alot less than you'd think. Of all those mods I use the 2 keycards one is the most broken and all that does is save time. The game gets more broken actually having another person playing.

This only happens on One Down where there are like 8 viable weapons. Everything dies fine on Death Wish/Mayhem where you can use most weapons if you mod them correctly and literally everything is viable on Overkill.
