The characters in the first one were a draw. They were so kind-hearted and loveable. The monkey though, he was just shmarmy and annoying. Jade ran an orphanage full of kids that she treated like her own children. The monkey scams a guy out of some money? He's hardly sympathetic.

looks like they re purposed the game and made a completely new other game, and it's probably online focused too, ancel talks a ton about all muh world building and shit like that in the breakdown trailer. This is clearly a different game with the name slapped onto it to bait BGE fans, we all know what audience they really want to pull in though, look at the lead writer for god's sake...

Mate I love me some Dolphin emulation but the port is fine and lets me shoot discs with the mouse.

It's always been like that and we know it, but they just had to tout it so proudly, it's even plastered all over the game website, this is already a red flag, but I'm more worried about the fact that they mentioned online shit and there is zero fucking gameplay.
