I was thoroughly confused at to what I was looking at the whole time. Literally the only thing that made me think of Beyond Good and Evil in that whole thing was the Pig Man at the start. When I think of Beyond Good and Evil I think of Jade and Payje sneaking around a complex fighting Alpha Section, not a foul mouthed monkey on a flying motorcycle. If they didnt have the title at the end I would have thought the pig guy was a coincidence and it was a totally separate game.

Really hated the accents, "humor," gritty realism, and overall edginess that Ubi has embodied for the past handful of years. It was all cinematics again so I can't really say much other than I wish we'd stop doing CG because it's useless. For all we know the game might have started being worked on only in the past few months. I'm not looking forward to the gameplay or game, would have rather let sleeping dogs lay but will have to buckle up and see what comes out. The prequel instead of sequel is really lame and probably going to be milked for a sequel to the prequel.

I don't know if they noticed but there was tons of diversity in the original game. You had Jamaicans (rhinos), Chinese (walruses), black people, white people, chickens, cows, and every other race/specie under the sun.

Other than the story and characters, Beyond Good & Evil wasn't exactly a remarkable adventure game. Why do they think it's a good idea to *not* bring the characters back? Why else would anyone even want a sequel?

That just because something is a cartoon or cartoon like doesn't necessarily mean it is for kids. There are countless examples of things thing that are cartoon that have very adult themes. Even if the theme isn't mature why should that take away it's value as entertainment for all ages?

If it was truly a graphical problem, then why did they never swear in BGE1?
I think it's pretty obvious that BGE2 has a massive tonal shift, and it feels weird. It's like if Trainspotting 2 was a PG-rated comedy.
