People always expect too much at E3, they can't blow you away each time. I wanted TESVI and another FROM game, but just because they weren't announced doesn't mean we won't ever get them, announcement or not they're coming and quite frankly I'd rather them be announced sooner to the release date rather than further away.

It's kind of a pity they relegated some of their most interesting stuff to the pre-show too. It'd have been nice if there was some GT, some Ni No Kuni, etc. in the real show too.

they had no new games though. they just showed us games they announced back in 2016 and told us they're coming out in 2018. no new bloodborne, no new dmc, no death stranding, not even a new bully or red dead redemption trailer. it was severely disappointing. even though MS showed off more indies, they were at least new and console exclusive ip's which are releasing this year. ashen looked good.

They didn't even need 20+ filler games from third party indie devs, also Most of the Windows 10 exclusives at Xbox conference are timed or non binding to the windows store. Those devs can publish their games to Steam later like majority of the previous 'Window 10 exclusive"

Because I remember at the beginning of every game they showed they tagged it as ''''exclusive'''' even though none were. Even PUBS that has been out on pc for months now.

When people talk about exclusives, they obviously mean the good ones. Nobody gives a shit, that the Life of Black Tiger is console exclusive for the PS4. Sure it technically is an exclusive, but who cares about it? Exclusives exists to make people excited for the platform they're releasing on, and make all the people who don't have it jealous. Bloodborne was a good exclusive, because it did just that.

I'm utterly confused as to why so many places said there was going to be a big Japanese game development turnout at this Sony E3 when they showed absolutely nothing.

I want to criticize people making video games because it's the only domain that I feel I have a bit of expertise on, even if it's mostly superficial since I don't have the technical or artistic knowledge to really go in depth because it would require an attention span and dedication that I'm unable to reach.

At the end of the day I just amassed a bunch of useless trivia that I take pride in it, even if it is just knowledge about the lowest layer of pop culture, I so feel the urge to give my opinion on everything related to the subject just for the sake of asserting my existence even if it's needlessly critical.

It was 90% games we already knew about for a year or two and still aren't coming out till next year. That's my only problem with it. It would have been nice to get a few surprises for this year.

Honestly it kinda felt like Microsoft's 2011 showcase, where it became clear all they really had was their Gears/Forza/Halo stable and not much else. It has me a bit worried about the supply of games for PS4.

Xbox technically has no exclusives, since Microsoft wants all their games to come out both on console and Windows PCs, since they own both platforms. But if we want to talk about "Microsoft exclusive" or "Xbox console exclusive" titles, they had quite a few.

The trailers were all remakes, remasters, remasters of remakes, Movies, VR shit or multiplats.

The only exceptions were God of War, that looks like it's drunk too much of the TLOU Koolaid and looks nothing like a decent action game (And that fucking Kid) and Spider Man.

When I saw Spiderman, I was excited. I fucking loved Spidey and really wanted a fantastic experience. But no, I get a QTE ridden Arkham ripoff voiced by a dude who sounds way too much like Yuri Lowenthal
