Nintendo sits on a pile of money so big, they could lose money for 30 years before they would even have to sell any IPs or properties. They are not going anywhere.

Yeah. Playstation is very profitable - the rest of Sony isn't. And Playstation is a very conservative business model - if consoles start to go away, Sony has literally nothing left, while Nintendo and Xbox diversified enough that they got away from the traditional consoles.

Dying in the same manner as we all are (as in some day, years from now they might shut down but unlikely to happen any time soon).

Honestly I think Sony will die before both of them. They have all their eggs in the one basket, whereas Microsoft are embracing PC. Consoles are getting phased out slowly, thank god. Nintendo will always have that niche with their consoles, so I can't see them dying that soon either.
