Those logos made me feel more than anything else this conference. Side Monhun, Bannerlord the WOLOLO letdown.

That says more about you than it does about the strength of Nintendo's showing.

They've shown Cuphead for the last two E3s. All they did this time was gave a release date.

And it's coming out this year, which is more than you can say about the majority of the games Nintendo showed.

I'm sick of yoshi and Kirby games, the Wii and Wii u were clogged with twee 2D platformers that don't rock the boat or introduce much new stuff.

The only new announcements we got that I care about this year were a logo and a dude saying a Pokemon game is in development.

Oddyssey looks sick, but anyone saying Nintendo won is just saying that because they went into the show wanting that outcome.

Literally all they did was come out and say "we are continuing to work on the same franchises we have been working on for decades. The ones you are familiar with. Also Metroid Prime 4 exists and there are no further details"

Metroid had literally a logo and Pokemon had a "yeah, we started working on it". Nintendo was so desperate to pad out their announcements that they jettisoned out those two before they were even far enough in development to have an in-engine tease

What is this meme? The big announcements from Sony last year, God of War and Days Gone, came with (almost certainly scripted) gameplay footage.
