Honestly this is my biggest barrier getting into Nintendo games. All of the games they put out are just so mechanically shallow and not challenging in the least. I'm not saying every game has to be Bloodborne levels of challenging, but being able to master a game in 15 minutes is just super boring.

Not memeing, but their games do feel like they are catered largely towards children who don't play a lot of games.

All vidya sans muh cinematic experience are about spatial manipulation of objects, finding out which kind of timings and angles are good etc. The surface paint it has on doesn't matter if you learn to disregard it.
