I think they're banking on the fact that since people really want to play as BP, they're going to be willing to pay more for him. They're in for a rude awakening.

I'm still hyped for the game because of its gameplay and the sheer potential for craziness, but there's no way I'm going to buy the vanilla version. I'll wait for Ultimate MvCI, unless they announce you can earn Fight Money like SFV and purchase the DLC characters that way.
