It's alright? Depends what you want out of it really. First half of it is mostly slice of life plus wacky witch shenanigans, while the second half goes into a more serious plot with a major villain. There are some great episodes but be warned, some others are downright terrible.

The OVA are both fantastic.

The TV series is a little bit hit or miss, the bad episodes are REALLY bad, even when they are plot relevant. The good episodes are REALLY good. It's pretty cute comfy witches but takes 20 episodes to start the plot.

My biggest issue is there is a odd mix between "Hey lets follow the overarching plot and uncover more lore!" one episode, and next "Hey, lets go do this quirky thing!". and occasionally, "Lets do this quirky thing, oh look, plot for because reasons!".

That and they don't explore the actual school scenario much, once you hit episode 4 it's basically "Hey, lets go off campus and do this adventure thing!" every episode instead of cute witches doing cute things at a cute witch school.

The most important thing to note about the TV series, it is about Akko foremost and Lotte and Sucy kind of blend into background characters who are as around about as often as Green-team, so if you really like Sucy don't expect a massive amount of her and just enjoy the odd treats she brings.

There are no bad episodes in LWA.

KLK season 2. Brace yourself for autism because I'm a bit sloshed tonight and not proof reading this cancer.

A few years on, nothing much happens until a mad scientist using life-fibres breaks into REVOCs archives and the old Nudist Beach research devision. Mad scientist is harvesting every scrap of life-fibre he can, the elite four and RyuSatsMako naturally organise to try and combat him but he is pretty well armed with decent tech and some life-fibre weapons and they aren't, due to a lack of Goku Uniforms and Fibre-Scissors. Overhead a new OLF has reached orbit with more on the way, now trying to fight the scientist and the Nu-covers.

A twist, when they discover the identity of the scientist is that Shirō Iori who went off the radar a year ago and went full mad-cultist trying to prepare against the incoming OLF invasion, stealing all the notes of life-fibres from REVOCS and Ryukkodad, gathering all the threads he can from any source, as well as faint bankai threads plucked from orbit so he could recreate Kamui Senketsu, and Kamui Junketsu (Who is not being poisoned by Satsuki this time so has a personality*.). As the fight against NuCovers continues, the Elite Four get their new uniforms and shit happens whatever you know how it goes.

*Remember that pretty vital plot point that explained a HUGE part of the show, but they accidentally cut the scene that explained it.

And the most interesting part, at some point when needed, he hands a package to Mako, inside it however is not her Fight-club uniform like she expected, but something he feels only she has the unique traits and personality to handle. Kamui Harime Nui..
