Another dbz fighting game

>another dbz fighting game
>tfw your favorite shonen will never get a great fighting game
Sup Forums what shonen anime needs a proper fighting game? Easy Mode: Any anime. Or G Gundam

A good Soul Eater fight would be nice

Yu Yu Hakusho for sure.

Hunter x Hunter

I know it's not really a Shonen, but Fullmetal Alchemist would be cool.

FMA / Berserk
>tfw the only way we will ever see berserker armour guts vs femto griffith is in a shitty game

literally dragon ball and naruto are the only good shonens

the rest are all garbage tier unworthy of being a video game

my nigga, was gonna post this

Keijo! gets my vote.

Not shonen, but that would be fun.

Don't act like a 2d one piece fighter wouldn't be fucking sweet. Massive roster, power counters, and potential for some awesome team play.

FMA and Keijo demographic is shonen

Zatch Bell

Dragon Ball has international appeal and is simple to work with.

Fucking JoJo powers are the quantum physics of anime/manga fighting game balance.

I would be happy with breaker getting an Anime adaption or veritas getting a sequel.

Funny enough, ArcSys did make a One Piece fighting game on 3DS not too long ago.

This existed, didn't it? Wasn't it the same guys who made the GameCube Naruto games?

A good Zatch game would be inredible

DBZ is the one least worthy of a proper fighting game, but I'm for some reason happy it's happening. Naruto is the one that should've had a proper fighting game all these years and not this shitty template fighter cutscene attack nonsense, but I'm perfectly content with that possibility remaining in purgatory forever.

There was one fighting game they had that was on both psp and ps2, but it was shallow as fuck.

I also couldn't find anyone that wanted to play it too.

...

There was a few for gamecube and gameboy

One with more polish would be greatly appreciated though

FMA has good potential if done by the right developer.

But I want a new one. one with more polish and love, just as much as being put into the DBZ games.

Tfw my favorite Mamodo isn't even canon, and was entirely filler

Hyde?

can someone this autistic exist?

...

>"But what if he knew he would do that?"

BRAAAAAAAAAP

Yep. I was so distraught when I found out he was barely canon in the manga.

A new YYH game would be amazing. Hell, they make it a crossover with HxH but have the HxH be DLC that's delayed for 10 years

>There will never be a decent HxH that has deep mechanics taking advantage of all the different applications of nen

I'd love it if I could get a Mob psycho 100 fighting game. That or a One punch man fighting game.

Hyde was pretty cool but I'd still pick the manga anyday

>all that Faudo rewriting
>ending it abruptly
>shafting Zeno's entire character

>There will never be a decent HxH manga that has decent fights taking advantage of all the different applications of nen

imagine the fucking skill trees..

>Tfw no MHA fighting game

Then have them release the first 2 HxH DLC characters, but delay each other character further and further until the game is dead.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

>HxH DLC is finally released
>characters are just wireframes with half-finished movesets

Bleach, easily has the most potential for some Guilty Gear shenanigans.

Honestly, One Piece is more or less about a bit of both. The ability and how it's utilize makes a huge difference but Haki is a fair equalizer that many might not care for but it doesn't mean you need it to survive, especially if characters like Usopp can still have badass moments.

I can respect that JoJo is a series where powers are a bit more unique or well thought out, much less where plot armor is practically nil for protagonists and the villains are just people you don't fuck with but if we're talking about making a game that does their abilities justice for the sake of a balanced fighting game, you're probably shit outta luck.

O MY RUBBER NEN

what if there was like a clash system where you had to guess and focus your Nen into the right area or else you get shit for it.

If your opponent goes for a headshot and you guess wrong, its a OHKO.

Probably would be complicated as shit, but neat to watch

die weeb shit

I'm still salty about that Western developed game on PS2.

O

...

It'd be interesting to see how they make full combat movesets for the characters, at least.

/m/ here,

Getter Robo needs to either be a fighting game or a Platinum cuhrayzee title

Possibly both

The only shounens I liked were DBZ, Naruto and Yu-Gi-Oh! and they all had great games. I'm satisfied.

Shaman King, WITH A FINAL FIGHT VS Shaman King Hao Fussed with the Great Spirits
Flowers characters maybe

I know they've given it a couple swings, but I was a new good JoJo fighting game.

No enough rooster for a fighting game (maybe vs ALL TOEI MONSTERS OF THE WEEK, but that was boring) maybe a Dynamic Production fighting game, Mazinger Z vs Getter Robo vs Kottetsu Jeeg vs Cutie Honey

I just started watching this on Netflix and i'm loving it so far. I'd love for there to be a fighting game. I'd main the fuck out of Ban and Meliodas. Fucking full counter everything.

Lady Diane is a strong contender for being my top waifu.

post your mains

It's not exactly shonen and it's pretty old school and forgotten at this point but Angelic Layer would make a fuck win fighting game.

Although now that I think about it actually it'd be pretty fucking awesome purely if they played it 100% straight and implemented it in VR 1:1 as portrayed in the anime. It'd be a really good match, avoid the motion sickness problem since the operator themselves is merely sitting in an elevated seat in context, but really take advantage of VR too for the whole arena and doll simulation and everything. More 3D beat 'em up rather then fighter genre obviously but I'd get it.

a proper HXH fighting game that does justice to the Nem system is as impossible as it gets.

But a man can dream.

Just make each Getter form its own separate character and you'd have plenty

It'd be overly complex to have to master three different movesets to play as one character anyway

...

this wild ride could practically be mistaken for a fighting game adaption already

Prepare to kill yourself, it gets worse the further in you go all the way until the final episode.

>Goes on Sup Forums
>Complains about the presence of otakus

How about a JOJO one? Aside memes, that would sell like hot cakes.

Shingeki no Kyojin brawler game please

Don't act like you wouldn't play the hell out of an edgy Bomberman, battle royale style.
I know I would.

Kira is best boy, too. Just so you know.

Nah, in terms of GG (or BB for that matter) Horizon is a way better fit.

>tfw my favorite anime isn't a shonen

Shame, no Initial D race game, no All You Need Is Kill game

Samurai Flamenco game when?

There's a shitload of Initial D games

Both are great but neither fit a fighter genre at all so wrong thread. I have a lot of favorites that I'd love to see vidya out of but that definitely wouldn't work as fighters or even brawlers/3d beat'ems at all. That said
>no Initial D
you fucking what mate? There's been a shitload of Initial D games including racers. Franchise is popular and successful as fuck, hell there's even been a ccg and rpg.

Mine isn't shounen either since my favorite manga is Holyland, but I bet they could make a hype fighting game based on that.

At least you got a watchable Hollywood movie. I don't think any other manga series can say that.

I dunno what shonen is but the guyver could do with a game but not with the guyver giant forms though that's when it all went to shit.

>There will never be a a Medaka Box fighter
It doesn't help that her first appearance in a game was that shit jump game, and Kumagawa wasn't even playable.
