What are some games that don't fall for the photorealism meme and actually do a unique artstyle?

The Last Night

...

gamer g8 fags must leave

This game is one of the only reasons why I sort of want an Xbone.

This one. Also Platinum's games in general. Even the ones that have a more realistic style still tend to be quite stylized, like Bayonetta or Vanquish. And then you have the ones that don't, like W101.

>Also Platinum's games in general
Also before they were even Platinum.

>Also before they were even Platinum.
Of course. VJ surprised me when I went back to it, because I didn't remember how stylish and flashy it was, and how the visuals just pop out at you. It and the sequel sorely need HD remasters.

There's also Okami as well.

If you insist.

triggered faggot

Damn. That was probably the one Clover/Platinum game I played that I didn't quite see the hype for (although I had played the shitty Wii port of it, so that's why, maybe), but there's no denying that it had a beautiful art style.

While we're talking about Capcom games, UMvC3 had a fantastic art style that perfectly captured the comic book look they were going for.

Killer 7

Fuck, this game had such a great art style. I really want to go back to it and beat it one day. I know, I know. Hopefully we get that HD remaster of it that Suda wants to do.

NMH had a more toned down version of this that was pretty cool too.

It has similar hard black shading, and basically nothing else.

Even with all the hats, TF2 has is gorgeous.

If only it was the last boring pixelshit indie platformer, instead.

Despite being a military fps both Halo CE and 3 have great art styles.

...

It's getting a PC release release if you're into W10.

It coming to PC, xbone has no exclusives.

Why complain about pixels when they actually look well made and are being used in a more unique way for once?
Save that shit for when a game looks like Terraria.

Cuphead is coming to PCs in general. This has been known for ages, and it already has a Steam page.

>the photorealism meme

Valkyria Chronicles has an interesting style going on

Wuppo

It' ok Toddo, we all agree that photorealism meme is ok when bethesda does it.

Because like literally every other pixelshit indie game wows you with its beginning then stops giving a shit about a third of the way through, and considering this is yet another faggot more concerned with saying something with his game rather than actually making a game I have no reason to think it'll be any different

>Because like literally every other pixelshit indie game wows you with its beginning then stops giving a shit about a third of the way through
That's most games in general, lad, pixel or not.

Ah man, I need to go back to this game and actually beat it.

can fallout 4/skyrim even be called photorealism?
they are so ugly that you can call it a unique style itself.
hell, even crysis 1 is more photorealism than fucking skyrim/fallout4

Just don't scout rush and it's very neat.

And when a game's only selling point is it's art style (unless you're actually hyped for a "cinematic platformer") that becomes a dealbreaker.

>"cinematic platformer"
I get the feeling you don't know what that means. Stuff like Prince of Persia, Another World, and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee are cinematic platformers. That's just the name of the genre, it's nothing to do with modern "cinematic" approaches to games or anything.
I haven't seen any gameplay of The Last Night though. I have no idea what it's like, I just know it looks pretty.
