ITT: zeldrones defend the very worst of the worst of ubisoft missions: instafail tailing missions where the target goes extremely slow and turns around to induce said instafail.

10/10 game my ass.

Master's ballard trailer made me want to buy a switch and then this game. sorry not sorry

a single side quest out of 118
You're really stretching here

Weren't people making fun of that shitty Switch E-Shop Game for having Superman 64 Rings? So does BotW.

mate 1 tailing mission out of 120 shrines does not need defense

I mean yes... It was not the most fun thing in the game, but ITS A FREAKING ONE SHRINE and also you can not fail it unless you are retard. Also there is no instafail, he will just see you and have question mark above his head which slowly turns yellow

Actually Nintendo made tailing actually fun here by adding context, a comfy environment and an excellent reward at the end.

Korok's are cute btw.

>freaking
You can cuss here underage

No this is nice board. Stay nice.

We can all take a single out of context event in ANY game and probably make the game look awful
Next

Why would I cuss? Some things are minor enough that they don't deserve cussing.

Botw really proved that ubisoft must have lent Nintendo their engine. Everything about the game is literally assassin creed.

...

>remove markers from map
10/10 perfect game finally I can Explore and spend 850 hours finding 900 (!!!) korok seeds and watch the exact same cinematic again when I make a dish or elixir.

for future reference your use of caps could have been nicer, please refrain from caps posting in the future on this board
please try a little harder with your bait next time around, here's a courtesy (you) for your self esteem friend

>nintendo fag upset that Nintendo is a hack and used ubisoft's poor designs

you cannot argue botw is literally an ubisoft game beneath the zelda skin

This right here is the worst sidequest in the entire game (that I've tried). Shit was so incredibly boring and tedious that after the 4th try or so, I stopped playing. I'm not saying I didn't like the game, I love it, but shit like that just makes me want to take a bit of a break before going back to it.

It's still a good game and that's the only bad experience I can recall with 100% the game.

yeah it sucked but the trial with the deku equipment was fun as fuck and more than made up for it

>he didn't beat it first try
fucking pleb

Failed it once, oh well. Was less interested in the Death Mountain mission where the Goron has to follow you.

>ubisoft invented open worlds and insta fail stealth
Nice bait user, try harder next time

>Being shit enough to fail this mission
I beat it on my first try, and I'm assuming it's because I used the stealth set like any non retarded person would

They don't even except you to walk right up to the Korok's butt. They expect you to sneak and tail it from far behind. You can tell where it is because of the silly stuff it says.

I beat it on the second try when I realized this.

The trial where you have to follow the trees with the magnetic rocks in them is much harder because it's very picky about you going off the trail, but some of the rocks are hidden in a way that you have to explore a bit to find them even though you're unsure of where you're going.

git gud

It's literally one quest, and it's pretty short even.

I'd agree with you if there were more, but it's literally one.

ubisoft didnt invent open world, but botw reeks of their open world design through and through

Shut the h*ck up, user.

Oh really, why do you say so? If anything BOTW reminds me of morrowind. Are you still trying to poorly bait?

No it literally doesn't. Ubisoft open worlds are running from cutscene to cutscene with nothing in between, and it shows. You would know if you played both games

>morrorwind

morrorwind had an actual crafting system, no shit tier textures, a bigger world, an actual town with people in it, a story, and music, more than botw has

You can highlight rocks from really far away with stasis, removing the guess work

>fucking pleb
Almost beat it on my third or fourth try or so, got RIGHT up to the shrine, got a little cocky, moved up a little bit too close and got spotted. I was so annoyed, I'm pretty sure I fucked off and did some other stuff before dropping the game for awhile. I really should get back to it.

>no shit tier textures
Oh my this is quite exquisite bait

So how does this disprove anything I said? Morrowind's open world structure is more similar to BOTW's than ass creed

You do the same thing in botw. Run to divine beast, do cutscenes.

Not him but probably that the game is built around a billion tiny inconsequential collectibles/missions, has towers for fast travel, slow as shit climbing, weird anachronisms, and is in general very tedious

>morrowind
>no shit tier textures
Nigga what? Morrowind aged like milk left in the sun

Edgy

All you had to do was follow the damn korok Link!

And yet botw's textures are worse than it

L. O. L. desu

but the world is not designed around that. There are far more things to do in the world besides story missions, in fact, the story missions are the worst part of the game

>slow as shit climbing
Get the climbing gear
>billion tiny
That is not exclusive to ubisoft, it is present in every single open world
>weird anachronisms
Like what
>very tedious
Not for me

>BEGINNERS TRAP!
>DOOD THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO!

Don't you have some Fallout 4 VR edition to shill, Todd? Go away.

pls be nice
The climbing and energy bar remind me of sotc more than creed, agree with small collectibles point, but in the little I played it didn't seem tedious

How many times are you going to make this thread?

LOL

fact is, this screen isn't even cherrypicked

>the inevitable scapegoating

You could have remained consistent with botw defenders earlier claims and just said horizon

I heard you can just run pass him and complete without following and some confirm this.

Is any new "story" stuff coming for BoTW in the DLCs?

Or its challenges and stuff like that? I usually wait for all the DLC to release before i play these kind of SPlayer games but i saw the content on the first DLC and if all dlc is like that i dont have to wait on this one.

forever, he's buttblasted as fuck this game is going to be GOTY

>morrorwind

already looks better than botw's low res shit

Only todd howard can claim morrowind's textures are good, so nah, its not scapegoating

is that you todd? please make a better engine, thanks

>he is so bad at this that he actually failed

>tfw I out on the ninja suit, painted it black, and passed all the stealth missions easily
>implying it wasn't cute following the little tree nigha

And I think Zelda games are average.

>putting story in dlc

are nintendo fags the biggest cucks

>people who hate on games because they lose "unfairly"

Makes me lose my shit every time.

Damn he's going all out with the bait. funny thing is bottom still looks better than whatever morrowind has LOL

>go to close to target
>fail stealth mission
WOW

Zelda has features not in morrowind

What is your point

Put on stealth gear and make sure you stay out of his line of sight in case he turns around by using cover, trees, and using the camera to look at him from somewhere he can't see you.

My nigga. I told my friend the same thing during launch. He didn't see it (because he didn't play it) but BotW really did have some sub conscious Morrowind vibe.

Shitposting

this kind of mission has been around for along time

what does it have to do with Ubisoft?

A lot of games do this

Oh man even at low settings, Morrowind looks better

oh yeah, breakable weapons and no repair station! Such a good feature!

They reskinned Skyrim with a Zelda theme and sold it to us, and are also selling us plain Skyrim on the Switch as well.

How many times are we going to buy Skyrim or Skyrim reskins? How did we fall for a Skyrim reskin? Who did this?

@380711884
Next time don't make it too obvious lol

There's a few real pain in the ass moments in BotW that could have been done better. That's one of them. The stupid fucking motion control shrines were another.

It's more like a reskinned morrowind to me. The atmosphere and variety in locations more closely remind me of morrowind

First of all, you can't just walk into a town in Skyrim.

Secondly, Skyrim is trash for normies and I'm not buying it.

Thirdly, BotW looks and plays better than anything Bethesda has made after Morrowind.

>Thirdly, BotW looks and plays better than anything Bethesda has made after Morrowind.
Nintendo cucks gonna cuck

Oblivion and Skyrim look like ass. Just like Bethesda Fallout.

>mfw the anti guardian ancient armors and weapons give me that big Dwemer vibe

This is Hyrule field from a N64 zelda game. Nothing has changed.

Is he wrong though, all bethesda games play like absolute shit. Except maybe fallout 4

>slow as shit climbing
>Get the climbing gear
Have it

>billion tiny
>That is not exclusive to ubisoft, it is present in every single open world
lolk

>weird anachronisms
>Like what
Technology and time travel bullshit in a medieval-ish fantasy game, do you not know what an anachronism is?

>very tedious
>Not for me
That's because you're retarded

I dont care for elder scroll games, but botw looks like a pile of lazy graphical shit. Those washed out colors dont hide the low res textures and horrible poly count

>fallout 4
Guns feel good, rest are fucking shit

>Miyamoto rips off face at E3, revealing Todd Howard

Is this game viable to emulate yet?

how many hours of your life did you spent reposting the same thing with the same text?

>have it
Then with Revali's gale climbing is fast as fuck
>>lolk
>no argument
>>tech bullshit
>everything must be pure medieval
>no u are retarded
Riveting user, now can you have an actual arguement

>press x to skip

My girlfriend doesn't do it either. It drives me crazy when I watch her play.

You are your own suffering, user.

We are talking about how the game feels to play, dumb fuck. Also set your settings up to full RGB

Nintendo realized no matter what they do, people will love their games

They slowly fired everyone who used to work there unless they were a meme like Miyamoto.
They don't even make games anymore, they just outsource everything. Neither Metroid is made inhouse, they hired some nonames, and even for Mario and Yoshi they licensed the Unreal engine.

They know fanboys will buy it no .atter what, while normies will never buy them no matter what - so why try? Just ask full price for every game then shit out 60 dollars worth of DLC and a billion amiibos. Fanboys will even thank you for it

press + to skip
everytym

the whole point of the trial is to use magnesis to do exactly that

Mario isn't unreal, stop spreading lies. It's using an in house engine. Metroid 4 is in house, but a new team.

Are you just baiting really hard

This is Skyrim Field from Skyrim VR. Literally NOTHING has changed.

Are you actually climbing or doing the jump climbs? If you don't have a bunch of stamina potions on you you're playing it wrong. Just like morrowind you need to keep that fatigue bar healthy.

Nigga, stop and get your ass some sleep high school starts in a few hours.

>normies will never buy them
Are you insane?

tbf that mission still sucked ass and went on for three decades too long. If someone would get impatient in the end,he would have to redo the entire mission that's almost 8 minutes of "get near the little fella, but not too near".

This. Even Mario odyssesy is literally an open world game. The gameplay looks like a lazy pile of shit and Nintendo knows people will still play it. Never touching a Nintendo game again.

>nuh uh
>nuh uh
>nuh uh
Riveting user, now can you have an actual arguement

You need to let go of the ubisoft boogeyman

>literally an open world game
Just like 64 and sunshine? This is some really really poor bait. And how does the gameplay look lazy? Can you elaborate?

is the the modern version of "how r u supposed to know..." threads?

because you need to be a total retard to fail this one

Mario is using Unreal Engine isn't it?
There was the Unreal logo after the trailer.

I need actual points to refute first though, especially since you made absolutely 0 arguments in the post I replied to, besides no u. Also BOTW has time travel? Why lie?

Trailer literally had the Unreal logo at the end

No. That was yoshi and yoshi only. The end is the entire credit list, that's why unreal is there. Are you that retarded?

>Are you actually climbing or doing the jump climbs
Both, jump climbs in the rain usually, normal climbing when I'm lazy

>If you don't have a bunch of stamina potions
I do, also been pumping all my upgrades into stamina

It's still tedious as shit to climb your millionth featureless wall regardless of how you mitigate it, it's shit design
