Are you really this new? Was this quite literally your first E3 on Sup Forums? For an entire 2 maybe 3 Months, nintendo got shat on for E3 2015 and rightfully so. It was abysmal in every way possible. E3 2015 was the year where everyone stopped believing in Nintendo, all trust was lost until Breath of the wild came out almost 2 years Later.
From BOTW's release up until now, nintendo has been making a comeback and there is no end in sight. This is what we've been waiting for.

Is this the e3 thread? Beyond good and evil 2 I hope ends up being as good as the first game but I don't have high hopes for nubisoft, I did like the money character though.

Nintendo did a pretty decent job showing off the new wahoo bing game and rabbids looks fun. Of course showing off the metroid, kirby and announcing future core pokemon games were great too.

In terms of actual presentation style, this years E3 was the best in the last handful of years at least.

I'm not saying anything about the quality of games shown when I say that. It's just that finally they seem to get that trying to be "hip" or "down with the youth" is just fucking cringe worthy.

There was no fucking Kinect style "Skittles" moment where they spend far too long demoing a game literally nobody cares about, and just looks a chore to control.

There was no cringe worthy Let's Dance moment, where they get devs to dance incredibly badly.

There was no out of touch spokesman talking about features nobody wants (think Xbox focusing almost solely on TV integration a few years back)

This was the first time in ages where the whole thing seemed to just be "Here's some games you might like, whatever", and that's as good as E3 can ever get from a presentation point of view. It was incredibly low on dumb or cringey shit.
