I dunno, I'm not sure I'd want a Zoo Tycoon game from someone who was dead-set on making a rollercoaster tycoon and failed primarily on gameplay.
RCT has always been more about building up the cray parks but Zoo has been the eternal struggle to make sure all the exhibits don't have too much poop in them, the animals have the exact percentage of brown and slightly browner brown land and so on.
It was more of a game, since making one exhibit would never make all finanficing issue disappear like a single cool ride, or pool (if we're talking RCT3) could, leaving you with free reign for the rest of the map.
